ummm i thought I'll keep the size of the pics down so it doesn't annoy nick with how much large files we upload to the server? also for download time .... since some of us are old school and are still in the atri days with dial up connections... Theme: Anything you want it to be, basically just post the best photos you have and lets say after 2 or so weeks the photographer can enter only one photo and a poll will be made for all those who are interested in competing.
-
Photo Contest, If your interested in photography, and you have some great photo's you would like to share with us.. then please do so. Rules: Images can not be larger then 1024x768, and the picture has to be your own work. I'm planning to add a poll for all the pictures at the end and that way everyone can choose and we will see who wins?

Sweet, thank you for suggesting the neatimage program, I have d/led it and I'm working it now... I don't know about the cropping... do u mean don't use the digi zoom at all... and then crop out the bits I don't want and magnify the subject in PS? Whats a 2x ND Filter? where abouts do u get ur goodies from? I have to find a place that would process an odd 40 rolls of 24 & 36 rolls of 35mm film for cheap too.. any ideas? Also my pentax inbult flash is playing up, when I push the button for the flash to pop up... it doesn't pop up and I have to pull it up into position. ALSO.... do u know a good place to get lens cheap?
-
hehe, I agree nick, a cats life is the best, its like ur a king and have your own servants that fuss over u and you just don't give a shit... cause you know they'll always love you... no matter what you drag in

A couple of early pet hates already, no bulb mode and the longest shutter speed is only 8sec's. I suppose that leaves something for my MZ50 to do. Also another thing, at night the view finder and lcd struggle. I love the zoom even the digi zoom is cool and very clear, that shot above is street about 1 or 2km away. (I'm not bull shitting) I have to take it for an expedition somewhere and test it right out.

Teddy that's so cute :D Big cats rule! you can squish em tight and hug em... and they keep you warm really well.. I love Kittens and Cats, I am actually allergic as well but I don't care... Cats are so low maintained its great, you don't have to walk them, follow them and pick up their shit, throw things for them, reassure them they you still love them every day... A Cat will just do its own thing, go with the flow... very mellow.. I have a 15yr old Cat who is now living with my sister, and he is a good cat, scared of birds and anything that could disturb his beautiful coat that he spends 8hrs grooming daily... that leaves 2 hrs for eating and pooing and 14hrs for sleeping What’s a good program to use for editing Video clips. P.S: I have had (and looked after) 5 dogs, and I must agree with the fact they are very loving and always happy to see you when you get home from work. However they require a lot space for a big dog and always some one to give them attention, a little to draining for me.

From the above list, so far I'm liking the Panasonic DMC-FZ10 the most, basically for the huge zoom lens, imagie stablity, unlimited movie mode, and basically for full manual functions. Now, have to save up,.... everyone its my birthday soon.. give me 50 bucks each

Hey guys n girls I have short listed the following: Canon PowerShot S1 IS Panasonic DMC=FZ10 Fuji FinePixs7000 Check out the specs, which one would be better suited to SLR like photos? which is the better camera, what about quaility wise? what about brand and reliablity? What is your person view on the 3? Thanks heaps Tom. P.S: Notice the Memory type is different on all 3.

Nah not really  I suppose but what I ask is just basic manual stuff, which should make a camera cheaper rather then have wizzbang stuff which is all auto. I have narrowed down my list to: Fuji Finepix S5000Z $525.00 Inc Panasonic DMC-FZ10-K (Black) $860.00 Inc. GST Canon Powershot G5 $879.00 Inc. GST Canon Powershot S1 IS $829.00 Inc. GST Fuji Finepix S7000Z $880.00 Inc. GST
