Don't forget tho if your involved in an accident your adrinlen would be pumping and I think if you didn't have a window punch, nor some brass nuckles you would find a way out of the car ASAP. its like when some little women pushes a car over to free her son/daughter what ever.. people do some crazy things... Andrew, check www.jobs.qld.gov.au - get a gov job you won't loose that ;) OK, umm I ask about the strut tops cause apparently Starlet GT ones won't fit my car but if I just put my strut tops on the coil overs it will be a perfect fit. Would that be hard to do? is the coil over one bit?

Hey guys, I'm gonna buy some coil overs for my car, and I was wondering what can I do to them, can i take them apart and use different springs? Can I put different strut tops in? can I put different shockies in? Whats possible? My dream would be to have height adjustable, with damper and rebound adjust.

My window tint is pealing, has rust spots, sits more to oneside then other due to stuffed suspensions.... leaks oil... has dints and scratches all over it... even miss coloured panels.. I would be embraced to take my car... tho no doubt other GP's will be there *shrug* When its finished it will be worth the wait. (thats what i tell myself lol)

Why would only one wheel lock up on my hand brake ... thats how it feels like anyhow.

Don't think maxi will be ready once again, he will be running, but his in bad shape... my coil overs won't arrive for another 1.5months. And I still have to get the FMIC from a mate and the ECU installed Lil by lil tho.. he will be ready for next yrs

Dream, thats something i'm great at, Lets see: Maxi converted to 4WD, 300kw 3SGTE, 4 x Brembo brakes with 4 piston calipers, body fattened, no rear seats, nice roll cage, 19" mags, set up for tarmac rally! Mclaren F1 LM - enough said :fuzz: I would love a hover car :P

I just don't like it when you pull some apart ...put it back together and out of no where 2 or more bolts/screws/nuts appear! And then it causes a real pain in the bunghol trying to work out where you went wrong! Though its alright when your working on your wheels and 4 nuts a left over ....and you go for a drive and a wheel falls off... then you know exactly where you went wrong lol

Redwarf: I like the "you can have" bit 2k! lol ... I don't doubt its a mad little car but 67 dude... I wasn't even born yet.. add another 14yrs heh.. Heya guys, I wanna get a 2nd good little car for the misses to learn in and aswell as little run about ... budget is 1000 to 3000 has to be a 4cyl 5sp, have a back seat and 4 doors. It also needs to be easy to get parts for, easy to drive, cheap to run. I'm leaning towards this telstar I have borrowed from a family friend, but its FWD, 2.0 4cyl underpowered fuel guzler which puts me off. Any suggestions?
