I say the day was a complete success, the new brakes work a treat, big thanks to Nick, Teddy for the hardwork....and Justin for his moral support :) lol I actually learnt something too! :)

Nah no Dyno.. wish I could afford it but kinda tight with the budget :) I'm saving all money for 4EFTE ecu to be wired up and FMIC .. and also shockies and springs... The 4EFTE is actually MAP sensored not AFM like the 3ETE... so that could be it tooo... cause the 3ETE ecu is trying to send messages to the AFM and its not there but the map sensor is trying to compensate ... fark I dispise *** cause so many problems ... stole so much money and caused me so much stress, anger, frustration,blood, tears and put me off cars.. :) Ok so it looks like ECU problems.... in a way its good ..least I know its not something else that could require more attention.

Ok just say you wanna take off normall and when you release the clutch and start acclerating the car starts to stutter. ... I believe it needs a new clutch.. I paid for a brand new Daiken heavy duty item which was suppose to be fitted but never was... so I doubt its a brand new clutch! yes even if I lift my foot off the clutch and go to acclerate the car will stutter even more voilently... using the clutch controls it... if I rev it more car sorta goes but it doesn't want to - explain? = as in clutch slips majorly I have been told its an ECU problem or a wiring to dizzy problem ... but I disagree... because it always happens when I'm taking off and the car is cold. Remember those times when you 1st started to learn how to drive and the car bunnyhopped.... thats exactly what its like just more crazy!

Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone knows what or how to fix this following problem: The Car stutters when taking off and clutch slips - normally happens when car is cold... the engine light will come on... if I rev it more car sorta goes but it doesn't want to. :)

hey guys, I'm not to sure with the bleeding or what not... though a friend told me to put clamps on the pistons aswell.... I'll take a bottle of brake fluid I have.. as I don't' own an clamps lol :) Nick, I haven't had a chance yet to buy any pads, I was hoping to buy them on Saturday... I basically have approx 100 bucks total to spend for front and rear pads... so nothing fancy for me :) My plan was to get down to repco on Saturday and buy what ever I can (I'll tell em its for a starlet hehehe so I don't get charged the 300% mark up import rule) and come around more 10:30ish.. ..but tell me your plans for the day cause I don't wanna put you out :) Teddy, If your still coming along with your camera we could do a Brake Change tech for the website, with pics and step by step guide?? what do you think :)

Hey guys, I'm not gonna fark around with the car anymore and basically just trying to get it on the road working and running... so time has come to put some new brake pads in.... This is what I have been told to do: 1, take wheels off 2, take calipers off 3, Suspend calipers so they don't hang from brake lines 4, unclip clips and remove brake pad 5, use a clamp to put piston in 6, put new pads in 7, redo clips, bolt calipers back on and put wheel on... The end.... or is it? Anything I missed ? If anyone knows how to do it... please tell me.. or even give me a hand pretty please.

I see where your coming from, I love my lil rolla, though to be honest I should sell it, however since I've spent so much time and effort on it with little return I can always see the potential which makes me not want to sell it... however if I where forced to sell it I'm not sure how to put a price on it... I've spent easily 3 times the purchase price on the car in repairs, parts and labour alone. I guess its called cutting your losses and selling it for what its worth to the market that its built for.
