Yeh true, I'm thinking about that too... cause you can take still's with a digi video camera now days.... however less settings to play with... My mum actually bought a Sony DHR40 or something, thats pretty cool has a touch screen and records vids onto memory card, also takes stills ... does other stuff too... I don't know I'm so confused :P :P

Well I'm looking for a digi to basically save money on film processing. If it was a perfect World I would snap up at Canon EOS 300D Digital SLR Camera (+ 18-55mm lens + 55-200mm lens +256CF Card) $2,255.00. However that is pretty close to the price I paid for my Corolla! Photography is actually a hobby of mine, which has taught me not to waste film always to think before taking photos. If I had a scanner plugged up I would show u some of my work. The Digi I am looking for must produce crystal clear photos, have adjustable shutter speeds aperture and focus, with Bulb mode, have night shot and I would like video mode with sound - with unlimited amount of space depending on memory mode- ie: not be limited to only 30 sec movies. Also have zoom lenses perferably with the choice of using filters & adapters (and I would love interchanagable lenses!!!). Lethium inbuilt battery with included recharger. (Would be cool if it could double as a webcam so I can watch Mikko play when I'm at work) What I would use it for: Happy snaps, proper photography (such as the photos I have hung up around the house alongside the masks I have made), I would use it for motorsports, mountain biking (would like to helmet mount it) and for general photos.... SO creativity is high on the list. Size and weight: I'm not to fussy as long as its the same size or smaller then my MZ50. Anything out there to suit me? **UPDATED** - Price I'm looking is under a grand... maybe around 500ish would be great

Hey guys, I wanna buy a Digi, however I have no idea about em, being an old school bloke who uses a Pentax MZ50 SLR which uses a thing called film, not to sure if your still with me now.... might of lost some of you wipper-snappers... I have just come back from Cairns area and damn did I have some fun... hired out a Toyota Echo 4 door manual sedan and I have some mixed feelings... Its under powered.... its made cheaply .... however its awesome when it comes to a daily little driver and for what it is made for its spot on... On a mountain run up and down Atherton Table lands nothing kept up :) Day one: Wake up at 4:00am catch cab to train station.. train to bowen hills and then another train to airport. 6:00 At the air port we were there 10mins late and JUST caught a Jet Star staff member who checked us in who was not inpressed. Arrived in cairns at 8:30 and jumped into our Echo, drove around Cairns and had some breaky and did some shopping at woolies. Then I drove up to Mossman and stopped at all the nice things inbetween... like Trinety beach where I passed up some land not long ago which was going for 150 000 (2.5 hecters next to the beach) and recently sold for 1.5 mil. :) Port Douglas I fell in love with.. most likely the place I would move to if I were to live up there. In Mossman checked out the National Park and what had dinner and went to bed early cause I was farked :D Day two: Drove up to Cape Trib and checked out the national parks and stuff up there did some walks and played soccer with a coconut on white sandy beach, then I drove like a bat out of hell stright to Yangabarra which is about 3-4hr drive non stop and looked at the place we were suppose to stay... a old pub.. looked pretty old and some dero's were already inside pissing up.. fark that ... off to find some new accom... which was a carvan park with some lodges at lake Tinaroo, Had a huge dinner at the Catherdral Lodge which is a 5 star resort and also meet the owner. Day 3: Drive all over Atherton table lands looking at water falls and big fig trees and stuff.... nearly hit 2 cows and did some rally driving in the echo... gribs quite well in the dirt :D Then it was back to Cairns and eat some more and on to the plane at 7 and back to brissie at 9 home at 10 and sleep time... Today: Did a bike ride for Brain injured children only 10k but I'm so damn tired its not funny... lucky i'm a government worker so I can relax in my own office tomorrow.

I remember a certain set of lights on compton road ....that stayed green a little longer then expected ..... and also the reason why I only have 1 working shockie and 3 buggered springs and why my car sits lower on one side :) Memories.... Thanks guys, I shall pass your thoughts to my mechanic who is fitting the 4EFTE ECU in a couple of weeks. Hopefully the problem will be found and fixed and the engine will run smoothly. Also show why its sucking down 2ltrs of oil in 3weeks of highway driving. (small leak when car is standing still maybe 3cm squared)

I was approached at BP Yatala buy 2 guys in a white toyota van trying to sell me home entertainment systems... or vcr's or dvd players... or stereos.. . I told them i'm not interested and informed BP staff who tell me they do the rounds around all the servos ... however they always disapear before cops get there.

The video is european hill climbing with old school euro muscle cars such as lancia's merc's BMW's Escorts and F1 cars... Or if anyone knows what I'm talking about and knows where I can download a copy please tell me.

I must disagree.... I like FWD's... its fun being on the edge,.... in many ways the car feels more direct to drive ... I am a fan.... if a starlet can keep up with a GTR R34 ...... then i would say fwd do not suck at all!
