exactly, its just stupidity and the system can easily be bent because you could just buy the parts back. or get a friend to do it incase your not alowd to. if your stupid enough to street race and get caught doing it then too bad if your car gets crushed, you deserve it.

my dad always told me to tap the outside of the car in places i would have thought to have rust, if it sounds like metal then its fine but if not then there has obviously been some rust damage b4. another couple of ways is to take a magnet with you, if it sticks then your fine but if not then its bog/fiberglass. and look for slightly different coloured panels cause if they're not exactly the same then most likely its been in a prang of some sort.

oh and if you are going to get your car crushed, then you can at least appeal for it. whether you win in court is another matter.

they shouldnt punish those who have a nice, worked up car just because they look like they would be the type of person who would do something stupid on the streets eg. drag racing, drifting but... if they have a nice, worked up car and get caught doing something stupid on public roads then by all means crush their pride and joy. they deserve it. i mean if you need to get your rush by putting other lives, and your own in danger just to get that thrill of being 'alive', take it off the streets and put your creativity on something useful. like gettin all your buddies with the same persona as you and round up a pertition. who knows, the government might be good for once and start up a track in a easy to get to place. but on one condition... keep the stupidity off our streets or your car will get crushed.

the spacers were only 3mm i don't see how they could've effected the stud that badly.

*update* i noticed the other day that my car was leaning to the left a fair bit. i knew that the struts were on their way out so i decided today to get some good ones from upi and replace them. and OMG here's what happened We were down at upi and found some good struts, but do you think that the steering wheel would at least be out of the 'lock' position? no so we spent about half an hour tryin to break it free. we finally got it done and we took them home. once we had to car on jack stand we proceeded to take off the wheels. till we found this: The nuts were only holding on the front wheels by a few threads. which is VERY dangerous. one of the nuts actually stripped one of the studs. we made a decision that we needed longer studs, which turns out is quite expensive, so ryan helped us out and went back down to upi to get the hubs that we had left behind. So we replaced both hubs and discs cause mine had a mass lip on them. We also replaced all brake lines as mine were farked. The struts went in without any problems but for some reason the left hand side is softer than the right, is there a reason for this?? or is it just my car? So now my car is sitting on celica wheels for now courtesy of Ryan *hi five* Anyway, its been a long day and i'm pretty pissed that the person who sold me the wheel nuts didnt notice that they wouldnt do the job properly. oh well. pics!! the rooted left hand side strut new struts! strut fitted OMG IT'S HOVER-ROLLA!!
