Also what i might do is handout flyers on windscreens on rolla's so we could up our numbers. (Won't rollaclub be happy if we had a huge turnout :jamie: ) Because i see quite alot of rolla's around, so might ask em to join (as long as they are willing....and nice people too :P Hows the stickers coming along too?

YAY! Finally a rollaclub cruise that's being/getting organised. Post up dates here for a suitable time for a meet. I'm not that good in organising a meet (i did a July boost meet and only attracted 15 odd people :jamie: ) I reckon Sunday's a good day for a meet/bbq/cruise. Probably weekday's too, but i reckon most are working/uni/doing other stuff. I reckon we should organise one for next month, so we could probably get more rollaclub members at the next drags/lapsprint days at the end of the month. :P
-
haha, congrats man, you've finally picked her up. :P
-
yep yep, That's Paul from Boost. But he's buying a S1 RX-7 and the Festiva might be off the road because he had some car problems. Thanks Felix, I might just take it in the carby shop and let the person do it all, rebuild it, install it, tune it. At least then i won't have to worry about jettin it, etc. (non-experienced person here)
-
actually its on the 30th of this month. so i'll be able to get them here on time :P haha, yeh, i'm goin against my mates festiva, i'll give you a run hey  just found out its gonna cost me $245 to recondition my weber and $120 for the plate and air filter!
-
of course not. They're still in the car. But i'm taking them both out when my new JVC head unit comes and storing them til i see the cash! :D But i'm selling it to a good mate of mine, so no trouble there...i hope.. Won't have them by drags which I'm entering. Not happy!
-
Excellent pics man. That really does look fun being on the track :angrybird: :D i can source a whiteline rear sway bar kit for about $250. Not the cheapest(or is it?) but i know where to get decent parts. I might need to get myself some shockies and struts before tackling the corners.

yeh, i was pretty dissapointed when i first saw it, but it must have been hard to fit 4 series (if i'm correct 45eps) of anime into a 2 hour movie. Like, how "" wasn't the same, and how "" didn't happen and also how "" wasn't how it happened in the anime. (been edited for spoilers sake) But other than that, drifting was heaps cool, acting was pretty sensible (but the dude that played takumi was more relaxed than he really was in the anime (opps, i've said too much again) But yeh, its worth a watch.

:rocknroll: lol, yeh i noticed that not many other rolla's here have a decent sound system. :rocknroll: but i'm sure i'll be there when the next sound off is happening. By the way, i've sold the dvd player and screen, but waiting for the buyer to get back to me with the money. I really wanted to keep them, but i'm not using them as much. So it was time for a better head unit :rocknroll: hahaha, lucky i didn't have a 4AGZE under the bonnet otherwise you wouldn't have known. :P
-
far out that much more? :rocknroll: Well i think you got the best deal out anyway, so topps for that. are those factory alloys the 6spoke one's? They look schmick. :P
-
so ya didn't opt in for the Sportivo huh? :P
-
nah,its 3500 for the whole lot (half cut, + 6sp + LSD) at one place i know. sx wing $350 at jetspeed :rocknroll: Will definately will. :P
-
haha, mine's gonna be the blacktop 6sp with LSD and a T3 turbo :P wouldn't that be neat. Got tint already (35% lowest legal), got low King Springs, getting Rims next week, getting resprayed in a month. So the list you've made have been done :rocknroll: Rear SX wing is on the list, but unless i find them at a local wreckers, it'll be a while.

so you've found your sx cluster. Let me know when you do so i can buy your old cluster :P:D
-
oh oks, i think they just look bigger in real life, haha.
-
yeh, you too man. Nice! You've managed to shred another second off your previous best lap time :P I'm thinkin about bringin mine out to the last 'free' meet and do a lap time in mine just for a bit of fun on the track. I'll see if i can get my mates who knows that creamy 20v to jump on here. And maybe ask them at the next dragstrip meet. oh yeah, don't forget about the white rollaclub stickers, is there a size smaller than the one i got from you, like the one on the starlet? That'll be perfect along the bottom window of my hatch :rocknroll:

Looking to do my own unprofessional respray. Does anyone know the best automotive paint to use and under what conditions should i take out whilst doing this job. Colours to look for: yellow/orange/gold/light grey/purple/white. Cheers if anyone can help out. :D Daven.
-
Cheers Adam. Though won't be racing, and probably won't stay for long as I'm on afternoon shift at work! :D But i'll seeya there around 10. Guess i'm looking for the starlet in the parking lot. Oh yeah, great to hear more NT rollaclub members. Make sure they have a computer, interenet access and have bookmarked http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showforum=31 so they can post up on the NT board as it seems the only posting here is you. I'm l33t at creating new posts. :D

$400! :D $140 for personalised plates here in the NT, can have up to 7 characters in slimline as well. i just ordered mine a week ago, should be good :D Link to prove it, but isn't a customisable/availablilty link thingy. http://www.ipe.nt.gov.au/whatwedo/mvr/regi...ion/plates.html

Bingo! mine is the one that u've described with the logo, speedo, fuel, temp then the door open light. yeh, i want to swap it with the one that you have on your rolla. Not the sx one. the first pic in ur post. is that a spare one by any chance you have sitting on your roof? :jamie:
