  1. Just wondering if they have used stock pulley diameters. 8mm pitch belt I'm assuming..
  2. Awesome, Free coilovers :P
  3. Hahah, you buy one and i get the free one yea?
  4. Just ordered Otomoto coilover kit with 4kg/mm springs.
  5. Cheers dude! Also, car is now equipped with an MA61 drivers seat. Have a passenger seat to go in, just need an hour or so. Also found out that xT13x Seats share the same seat to rail pattern as KE2x/3x/55/probably 70 and about eleventyhundred other toyotas.
  6. Nah, 70% on front windscreen. 35% all round. Used to be 70% on windscreen and both front windows, with 35% for the rest. Now Tint regulations are the same across the whole of Aust.
  7. Sounds like a very productive day Andy! can't wait till you get it on the road!
  8. Happy Birthday Woz!
  9. Lets just say its REAL cheap! PM'D details.
  10. Added a hotdog into the exhaust yesterday. Sounds beter, same volume, less tinny. Ordered door to window seals, expecting a call this week when they're ready for pick up. Car is booked in for tint on the 29th. 35% all round.
  11. Hey guys, Does anyone have any tech drawrings or measurements of the K series Gilmer belt drives? CHEERS Ryan
  12. Have a look into Kelway manifolds. PM a member by the name of Karllos for more details.
  13. Oh, i know the rarity, but one thing alot of people wouldnt/ can't comprehend is that the 38 has alot of centimental value to me. I lost 2 family members whilst building it. Gas Axe? Yeah, maybe if i wanted to send it to scrap.....
  14. Just a whole lot more work to add to the list. Not to mention swapping everything from the wagon to the panel van, doing the bodywork on the pano, take it over the pits, get rego. Then, strip the wagon, Weld up the rear doors, convert to 2 door, chop the roof, brace, engineer, take it over the pits, rego etc. When it comes down to it, The panelvan is sitting there, 80% stripped, already 2dr, alreay got a base for a firewall, full length tray etc. If i convert the wagon to a ute, I'm shooting myself in the foot with having to take 2 cars over the pits, and all the extra work of converting 4doors into 2...... People seem adamant on having the 38 cut up or sold...
  15. I think your forgetting being "mad and hectic" in Adelaide will get you defected....
  16. How have you come to this conclusion?....
  17. Ah yes, Ol Pottsie. I've still got his number floating around. Certified to to sign off on chassis' etc i assume?
  18. Who did you talk to regarding chassis mod engineering?
  19. Looking good Josh & Woz. Defintaly come a long way, even since i saw it in the sideway back at the start of Feb. :bounce:
  20. He is also putting in a non-factory engine, gearbox, diff etc. The longest part of it will be doing the chassis work, but aside from that. Sussed out how i will do the rear firewall, tailgate and tray side tops.
  21. I wouldn't be removing the floor pan. Joining chassis rails front to rear is what i've come to already. Will try get some pics of Mungi Mods, RA60 sunchaser to see what they have done underneath to strengthen the floorpan.
  22. It was for sale, Recieved little to no interest.. Will let you know when it happens Tom. Definatly, don't want a concertina corolla
  23. Once i can get in writing what I'm gonna need to do to satisfy the engineer, it'll happen reasonably quick. Got access to all the RHS, SHS, sheet metal. I'll be happy to get it to a stage where the engineer is satisfied and has signed off on the conversion. From there I can assess where its going from then.
  24. Yep, will have a "b: pillar and roof over the back of the doors 30x30 shs and sheet metal firewal to partition cab from tray. Really, thats the least of my problems. Gotta get the structual rigidity back into it.
