I was so sick of not being spotted with my stocko for now... :cool: I ordered my new plates this afternoon so i'll probably have them in a few weeks or so. Now people can actually notice my car...well i still need an exhaust to turn the heads...but the plates are there. :lol: Wattya's reckon? opinions?

thats PLEEZR...you think thats bad...jeez ancullen: yeah i bought mine for $2000 with 12 months rego, i reckon i could sell for about $3500...no work was done on it at all. 20v conversion...could sell for about $5000 i reckon.

you guys heard of flynsx? at the end of the day you mod your car to how you want it. i agree its a waste of money, but what else is an 18 yr old gunna spend his money on. its gotta be now or never i think. flynsx...awsome car in the way it runs. doesnt tickle everyones fancy due to paint and interior however as i said an awsome runner and I'm sure if you had no idea about figures youd say hell id like that.

hey all. got myself an ae92 corolla. besides the obvious changes like sx seats, levin GTZ seats and ae90/ae94/ae94/a93 yada yada.... i was wondering what other seats would bolt up or can be done with little modifications? has anyone heard/know/trialled any? id love to get a pair of celica GT seats... :D cheers in advance, cameron

gots da doof. lol turbo 20v mate...like me, trust me it will be worth it. for now, get yourself some rims, tints, colour coded bumpers, rear sx wing and lower it. good luck with plans.

yeah mike for sure. thing is tho...i want to get front and rear sway bars because my car doesnt have them like the sx!! ...i think it has a rear one or a front one...but i could be wrong but i definatly know they don't even compare to the sx ones. so i may aswell go all out of adjustable white line 22mm sway bar on the rear and 18 for front. i dunno...guess it comes down to price :D

Yeah mate...main reason for putting headunit there is because...sx cluster is going in soon. :thumbsup: ...good someone posted in me thread coz ive actually got some updates i was gunna put in...lol. Next month i will hopefully be doing: - new better alarm installed - stereo rewired, headunit adjusted to allow in Dash CB radio as well, pods put on doors and sub secured. - catback exhaust system with cannon tip which i already have. - tinted windows - rear ae101 RV disc brakes - SX cluster Then all i wanna do before the engine conversion is get the new suspension, shocks, springs and sway bars and strut brace. cannon: SX cluster:

pointless input from me. i went to the last toymods dyno day. there was a sprinter with a rebuilt 20v 4age. pumped up 122.6 rwkw....thats a beafy bloody engine for a 1.6 NA... apparently he had most of the cusco catalogue put in.

There isnt much difference between the 2 engines at all. and a bit more useless info

yeh mate mines a CS limited. 4afc (carby) . i usuallly rev it out nearly everytime...go to about 6200...as thats where it redlines. this is why I'm doin silvertop conversion...nice revving N/A engine.

haha if u can find me an sx cluster....then yeah sure thats spare. lol until then no. Have a look out at pick n pay if you in sydney. should most def. be one there.

oh and just for the record... *MOD* i have a word document with heaps of info and pics in it about this as well. (how can i upload it?) mate the cluster ur refferring to is the same as mine. It has from left to right 4 guages. Fuel, Speedo, Tacho and Temp. SX CLUSTER: (u can't see all the guages...def is sx tho coz speedo goes higher to 200 and theres the battery guage instead of the light and the tacho goes to 9,000rpm etc etc etc) And ur old one is an SE model which has...from left to right...the toyota logo, speedo, fuel and temp and then door open ...right? And you want to swap ur SE cluster for a CS one? or CSI? (which are the same)

Howabout throwing in a Blacktop 20v 7agtze ??? would cost a bit....would go a bit too!

yup yup, ive got a 3 or 4 different choices for brakes. also sway bars, well my car doesnt have a front sway bar...dunno about rear...so i wont be mucking... also i know is that if i lower it obviously it has better stability. slightly wider tyres and bobs ur uncle. thanks nick.
