I only had a Ramflo filter because it was all I could get at the spur of the moment when I changed my carb, its all down to personal choice, I just feel safer knowing my Redline filter won't deteriorate. What made you change over from the standard air filter out of curiousity?

Yes, those Ramflo air filters do make the engine sound a lot louder, I can vouch for that myself, I had one on my Corolla at one stage before I changed over to a Redline air filter, I didn't want all the foam deteriorate and get inside the engine. (personally I believe paper filters are the better way to go).

But remember, it comes at a price, you have to wash it when your done... (don't worry about making it all shiny for the day, cause the diesel just makes a mess of it while your out there having fun)

Rumor has it in a few months time we may be having a day at the Mt. Cotton skidpan, day includes skidpan / motorkhana / lunch / LVMA from what I do believe. Price will now be more expensive than it used to be due to public liability costs, but trust me its worth every cent, don't miss the opportunity..

Seeming as the anniversary cruise went off nice, I was hoping that mabey we could have a nice casual cruise and BBQ up Mt. Cootha in the near future, not straight away, but a date that suits all members. Theres some BBQs near a shelter shed beside (hopefully i remember right) channel 7. Any ideas on where to cruise from would be good, mabey start out at Aspley Maccas and cruise through and meet other people at the usual Milton hangout. Then proceed to Mt. Cootha and have a BBQ lunch (BYO BBQ)... thoughts/comments/feedback?

Hopefully in the near future I can take on another project Corolla, though not before I put a 4AGE into my KE70.

Yes, mixing a cruise with rain is not a good idea, I've seen what happens...

So, are we going to make a day to get together and go go-karting? not straight away, but mabey a month or so after the anniversary cruise.. ideas/suggestions?
