heyy everyone when the door skins are taken off, can u access the door locks? has anyone attempted fitting central locking in an '82 KE70? all help is appresiated Thx, Scott

hey try ooking at ur fuel pump and lines from and to the petrol tank or ur carby

heyy man i have done that only a few months back all you have to do is pull the clock dash out an plug in the new dash all the wiring is there, but the speedo you still have to change over which isnt hard take the front of both dashes and swap the speedo's over and the kms will be the same i had no problems, if u do then post em up Scott

heyy, i have an 82 ke70 rolla and it runs fine on unledded think its 91. but tried the petrol + ethanol and it was running rough an i switched bak and ran fine

that car has the worst person for an owner what a f*@kr that ruined the car totally lol

have u pulled it off? it might be bent or dented causing it not to spin properly gd luck

hay m8 good luck on ur zorst. i would recomend a Weber DCOE if you want power or if u just want somthin different then a 32/36 with an adapter plate i don't kno any thin bout suspention so good luck.

try putting in a separate relay for the starter solenoid as i had the very same problem, i would try and start it and get no noise what so ever, i put a mulitmetre to the battery and read 8 volts the corolla's have a tendancy for the key starter switch to become high resistant so the volts drop its pretty simple to wire up, i just took the lead that goes to the ignition for the remote power and connected it to the switch side of the relay, then i had a new big lead from the battery to the relay and the same size cable from the relay to the starter solenoid. USE FUSES!!! hope this helps because my corolla starts everytime no matter what state the battery is in.

Yehh I had the same problem with mine, so i went to supacheap auto and got a relay and some big wire and now i have aa relay connection full battery strength to the solenoid. works extreamly well, even if my battery is a bit flat it still kicks the starter and the engine turns over.

heyy i would recomend the weber series. if u dnt want to mod it much then a weber 32\36 with an adapter plate will work but if you really want more power then the dcoe series, double caerbie and a new sidedraft manufold anbd there are various options in between. good luck, all these u can find on eBay

hi, i have a k40 4 speed gbox and it was working fine untill the other day when i noticed that when i change down from 4th into 3rd it seems (at 60kph) to make a vibrating or rattling or gear clashing sound. if i accelerate hard in 3rd (3.5k to 4.5k rpm) and let go it sill does it. can someone please help because the sound is starting to get on my nerves! thx Scott

heyy, narr i have a ke70 CS and i broke traction coming up my drivway, i just (accidently) dropped the clutch and flated the accelerator nice big skid up the drivway lol.

Heyy everyone, i have a blue KE70 rolla 4spd. but when i hit 80ks i hear this wierd noise from the diff. its like a whining noise at 70 it appears some times but all the time at 80 never had the car above 80 because its a 4spd and I'm still on my L's all help is appresiated. Thanks Scott

basicly i bought the car in april 08 and the first time i switched the high beam on it worked then when we got it home i tried it again and it failed. ive replaced the light relay(s) in the engine compartment and in the kick panel. when they don't switch on, i voltage tested it and all terminals were all +. ive pulled the steering wheel off and got hold of the switch and nothing seems to be melted. ive also tried to clean the contacts with a scarror but it still fails. any ideas?

the problem is that the normal beam comes on but when i flip back the high beam doesnt any solutions?

Hi everyone. I have a KE70 1982 and when i turn on the lights the high beem doesnt come on. when i flip towards the steering wheel then it comes on but when i flip back it doesnt. the lights are on when i try. thanks Scott

yea i have the same noise from my ke70, can you please advide of all the tools required thx

mabe try the sparkplugs; if they are black, generelly their not firing and will need replacing

Hi everyone. i was just wondering where i can buy a new ke70 sedan back seat. i have one in there now that has been ripped by some animal before i got it. or could i just put some seat covers on it? the spring in the seat is still in good cond. all help is appriciated thx Scott
