  1. I got the fuel line from Repco at Noarlunga. for a 7.5m roll it was about 70 bucks (thats 5/16 in size) here is a link to the video of it running cheers jarrod
  2. I have brought and installed a Haltech PS1000. the car is now running but needs a tune. Here are some pics i have a video of it running for the first time, but i can post it up.
  3. Be very carefull with machining flywheels. Here is a good example of bad machining. (its not my car)
  4. I have now received my fuel pumps and my stuff from America. I have now ran 5/16 steel fuel lines under the car. Here are some pictures
  5. I had to cut on both sides of where the existing radiator was. I wanted to make the radiator as high as possible so the engine wont get an airlock. heres another picture of the completed extractors I have now ordered fuel pumps, a T3 manifold for ITB's, Vacum tank, ect.
  6. I have recently built a set for the 4AGE in my Ke70. here are some pics, I used 1 1/2 primarys 375 mm long I used 1 3/4 secondrys that are approx 160 long. I could of made the secondys longer, but i was told that the secondrys had to be a little bit under half the length of the primarys. I am using this set of extractors just to get my engine running. if you want more info on my extractors PM me or look at my project thread, Cheers Jarrod
  7. i will be getting the fuel pumps and the inlet manifold over the next 2-3 weeks Here is the bend for up and over the diff i have put an excel radiatior in now and i will put more pics up later Cheers Jarrod
  8. just a couple of tricks: Machine the flange flat before welding anything onto in take lots of time to organise pipe layout (Clearances between starter motor, steering boot, chasis, clutch, ect Weld pipes in stages (e.g 1-4 to the collector, 2-3 to the collector then weld 2-3 onto flange, ect) don't get too much penetration on welds (too much penetration will reduce the ID of the pipe causing more restriction) get pipe lengths as equal as possible tack pipes together before welding properly get extractors machined flat after all welding is done
  9. here are some pictures of the extractors
  10. I've started building the extractors and exhaust. I have decided to use the following size pipes in the extractors: Primaries: 1.5" Secondary: 1.75" And the rest of the exhaust: 2" I'm going to be using 2 small straight through mufflers. I have now got a tacho dash. The wiring is all done now except for the ECU wiring I have also put some pictures of my quad throttles. P.S I'm still looking for a manifold for the ITB's Cheers Jarrod.
  11. Its about time for an update: I have brought a surge tank. I have done 90% of the wiring for fuel pumps/cooling fans I still need to find a: New 070 bosch fuel pump New lift pump Sort out radiator/ cooling system (Excel or VL) probably VL Make manifolds. (will be getting flanges made next week) Haltech I will post up more pics later
  12. Then the crossmember was swapped. all un-neccesary engine bay stuff was removed. Pedal box was swapped and hydraulic clutch was set up Then the 4AGE and T50 went in. Now i need to: make my manifolds buy of make surge tank set up fuel system Make exhaust buy haltech and tune... then race....
  13. Then we stripped out the interior, all the sound proofing and carpet came out (even the stuff behind the dash) The 4k+5 speed came out.
  14. Here are the pictures of the conversion, The camera batterys were flat so the pics were taken on a mobile phone Stock (and yes that is lambswool)
  15. Hey everyone, Just letting you know that the car is now off defect. There was no problem at all, (So who ever said the rego was canceled didn't know what they were on about) I have already started stripping it. 4AGE is going in tomorrow. Will post up pics tomorrow. Cheers,
  16. Settle down, If ya wanna bitch about each other start another thread, god... (Jamin Vs Benzo) Car is going in on Friday...... I will let ya know what happens then, Cheers
  17. The car will be going to Regency, trying to organise it for Regency was bad enough. I simply couldn't wait for them to open up the Willunga Defect Station. There is basically no chance of getting this car ready to race before the first meeting in March, There is alot of work to be done, and I am only at home on the weekends. I will be in the 35 for the first race.
  18. Just an update, I hae finally got a date for Regency to get it off defect, It will be going in on the 6th of feb. Cheers
  19. I would just like to let everyone know that Transport SA are being difficult. I have called them several times to book an appointment. They are not willing to give me a "Set Date" I am going to keep calling them a couple of times per week untill they do. I am quickly running out of time before this years motorsport season starts. i might have to race a couple of races in my KE35. Cheers Jarrod
  20. what sort of tyre are they?? and, did they vibrate on the AE82??
  21. Yea i got the 4AGE, and all the other stuff, i am just waiting untill the defect is cleared berfore i put it all in. my car is going to be used for mainly khanacross, autocross, motorkhana, ect. CAMS PRC (production rally car) rules don't allow for this conversion. (but thats for serious rally) I just want to have some fun. Heres a pic of my engine (sorry about how its blurry) its a bigport MAP sensored. P.S i brought Silvertop 20V quad throttles this weekend (now i need to make the manifold) Cheers Jarrod.
  22. i will be doing this soon as well, I will be getting a haltech E8. the E8 is better than the FX10, because it is a fuel and spark ecu. Cheers Jarrod.
  23. I just found out that there is a 3 week delay to get it through Regency.
  24. The White KE70 is still defected. (for bald tyres, leaking suspension and too low) I have already put a set of Monroe GT's and some standard springs in, as well as a set of standard Lower Control arms in (to get through Regency) I still need to put a good of good tyres on it. I plan to take it through Regency this week, then I can get started with putting the crossmember, ect in. I will probably run the 4AC for a while, as I am saving money for a E8 Haltech for the 4AGE Will keep you posted, Cheers Jarrod. I still need to put a good set of tyres on it.
  25. Hey Everyone I thought it was about time to introduced my new cars. I have brought 2 KE70 slant fronts, Some of you would of seen this car as it was for sale on here a while ago. I would like to say now, this car has been flogged... but the body is pretty good (So thats what i am going to base the project on). I will not be using any of the original running gear in this car. The other one (Blue one) has already has got the AE71 Crossmembers, Pedal Box, T50 gearbox, and a 4A-C
