not having a bitch here or anything but that is a te72. te71 are alot shorter, and they cam out with 3t that i am aware of! so i could be wrong on that point but hey good car, if done right it can be a good car if you want to see some different headlights look at mine or i think its teddy's KE70 we have dual headlights and so do some others around this forum cheers Sean

hey guys its been a while since i last posted any of my actual progress, well i try bidding for the fender mirrors again, but some slack arse put there computer on auto bid in the fight to outbid me when i was actualy there putting in the effort, well anywa i did abit of extra serching on ebay and i found a propper air filter for my 32/36 webber, also purchased a 3tc gasket kit. will be looking at some other things aswell. and if i can get them again I'm going to go for the fender mirriors for the TE7X models witch are the square one but i might just look at getting som round ones that are green and sprey them black any thoughts? a few new plans for engine for the time being - 2tc head for more compression - new cam not much i know but a few thing will happen just need the money Cheers Sean

why a t-18 diff? whats so special about that that makes them differnt from a t series out of a TA22 celica that are the same apart from the diff ratios. and t-18 diffs are hard to come by unless you know the right people or unless you know were there is one cheap just thought i'd add my 2 cents worth

yeh i know ta22's came with 4.1 also the auto ta celica came with a 4.3 witch are hard to find! i just double checked and it was 79 - 81'a that come standard with 3.9, and the 3.7's came out in the 82-83 models

i though all t-18's came out witn a 3.9, cause thats what it said in a right up i found

you have too get them imported cause they never came out in australia if I'm right, but i have no idea how much they are
