  1. yea man konig rewinds. i went for the 15x7" option with the zero offset as these were for my other bugeye i was putting a blacktop 20V in. i needed this size rim to fit the big brake conversion i don't on the front (280mm U13 bluebird rotors with twin pot SW20 MR2 calipers) the project fell through once i got in a LOT of debt after my burns accident and having a year off work so i parted it out to try make up for some losses to income :)

NAME :Brodie MODEL :kp60 YEAR :1980 ENGINE : mildly worked 5k thought it was about time i did this as i sure i have not made 1 yet. i bought my bugeye just about 1 year ago now when i brother wanted to to aussie after i brought this for him. and i could not think of him selling it to some little fruckwit that would destroy it so i brought it back for the princly sum of $1200. when i brought it back it onl had 86,000 orignal km's on the clock. it now had 108,000 on the body and about 10,000 on a rebuilt 5k. the 5k is pretty standard for now. it is sporting a standard 4k carb that sheldon had rejetted the secondary jett for me. it has got a cam that we have no idea of the specs as there is no markings/stampings on it. all we no is it is as lumpy as hell. on top is a ported/polished and skimed 4k head and is still running the standard hydrolic lifters. it breaths through a ramflow filter and gets rid of spent gas' via coby extracters into a full 2" zorst with a 3chamber middle muffler and a stainless dumpy at the rear. it is legally to loud (104.2dB at full noice & 102.2dB at 4000rmp) but once new motor is built the zorst will be made more legal. other than that there is nothing really flash bout it except for the gilmer belt drive. is is lowered all round with modifyed factory front oil shocks with motor oil in them to make them stiff as and superlow lovells springs in the front and the sway bar having a bit more caster pulled forward. in the rear it is running compressed superlow king springs and shortened shocks. wheels are 15x7" konig rewinds with a zero offset and are wearing 195/45/15 GT radials. me and sheldon have got some big plans for the new 5k motor i have just brought so once the weather clears up abit ill take some pics of the new plan. and we will see what you think of the proposed plan youtube video.
  3. they were bout NZ$480 (+ NZ$40 shipping (total of $520) ) each for you guys by memory that included shipping to tazzy with insurence on the shipping. but it will all depend on how many kits are brought as to how much they will be as the more we buy the cheaper (to an extent) it will be. we brougth 6 or 7 sets when we did our last order to bring the price down otherwise the kits were going to be $670 each before shipping :jamie: . cheers, Brodie(reTRD)
  4. just to clear up the fact that i do not work for the company that made our gilmer belt drives i was/ am just an everyday guy like the other guys on here that brought the kits. if the numbers can be made up again i will be more than happy to help out in doing an other group buy but it will have to be don't throught the correct places on the forum as not to get into any confilct with the good guys at admin for this great site. many thanks guys, Brodie(reTRD)
  5. if ur having troubles trying to find a cam over there you could always try kalford camtec over here in NZ. they are really good at what they do. all you will have to do is tell them all the specs of ur motor, (i.e cc rating, boost u will be running the extent of ur head work if any, and also what petrol u wil run it on and what sort of responce u would like out of ur car and they will work out the best cam grind from there for ur set application. hope u have some luck in finding out what u want/need to no :D . cheers, Brodie(reTRD)

  9. me and a mate are toying/ drawing up plans for this kind of set up over here in NZ atm. using 20V 4AGE items on a custom intake. they will be mounted on the drivers side of the car and have big long intake runners like an injected 4k does, but its all still just getting the ideas tossed around for now to c what is doable :wink: i will keep you posted with the outcome. if any1 has more info on please pm it to me. cheers, Brodie(reTRD)

  11. i think it was about NZ$520 each for you guys over in aussie but that included shipping. but the prices are always changing due to the price's of billet going up and down in price all the time. and i was the 1 that sorted it all out and send to Taz Rx who shipped outto the guys in aussie.

BUT.....if u can get the numbers togeather i may be able to sort it out again not sure on pricing as you will have to give me 100% confirmed numbers of how many kits will be brought so i can get prices and whatnot. and this time round i will get myself a paypal acount to save on mucking round from the banks and stupidly expensive international bank fee's.

  15. but still.... i am truly sorry si i feel stink now. but on the upside i am glad every1 likes the kits i simply cannot get over the very high standard they have been made to. and from now on ill be forwarding business off to the guys that made them for us. so if you 4age boys want kits let me no and ill sus out an other group buy if you like?? (will need to get numbers 1st tho)

  21. thet turned up today :) i just waiting on the head studs to turn up and ill send them off to you guys. i have to say they look bloody good. if i can contain myself enough ill tru get a vid up on youtube, but that will also mean i will have to lurn what to do to hose a vid on my account on there hahaha ill keep you guys posted. but on the bright side there not to much longer to wait :D

  23. I'm in the process of hunting out us some cheapish replacement belts. so as soon as i no more i will let you all no :dance: so don't worry to much about that. but come time for people to buy them (if needed/wanted) ill set up a paypal account to save on some of the hassel haha.

  25. bloody hell thats disgusting! i so glad nothing like that has happined here, i feel like i letting every1 down as it is taking so long haha. but other than that i am happyer than a dog with 2 dick with how everything is going thus far. and i am stoked with how they are looking ( by looking at the pics.)
