  1. yea ur head studs. as I'm getting the gilmers send straight to me now so i have asked Gaz to send them to me so i can send thm to you all at once. i would like to say yes u will get them next week but atm I'm not holding my breath ill let you no more once i have them in my posession and sent them off to you. i will be sending them via air mail and the lady at the post shop says it will take 5-10 working days. so ill go buy that just to cover my ass really hahah. i truly can not appoligise for all the time it has taken guys i really am sorry for the wait but i am in tha same boat as you's but we are getting to the bright end of the tunnel now so all things going well maybe late next week/ mid the week after ur cars will be wineing more than my wifey because i have not done the dishes hahahaha cheers for all your help guys u all really are top blokes. ,Brodie(reTRD)
  2. should be all the same but you will need to get a gilmer pully for the supercharger also. and it might be cheaper if you get that at that same time. so if you like you can give me a yell further down the track once you have got the gze and are all ready to rock and roll. cheers bud, Brodie(reTRD)
  3. i have news!!!! 4 kits are don't and getting sent to me directly 1 will be mine and the other 3 are the 1s i have got to send to the guys in aussie before i spend the money for shipping. but the other good news is the remaining 3 belts they are waiting for will be there tomorro. (wwaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhoooooooooooo lol) i will u2u you Gaz re: headstuds also i have asked allen to send the 3 remaining kits to Gaz as he send shipping tags so i assumed you put a return address in there also ? untill then i habe pics of the kits with the teeth cut and they are sexy as if i do say so myself. enjoy(note this is a "K" series gilmer kit)

  5. righty oh, just got off the fone with allen, (bolldy toll call is going to cost a shitload:|) the kits are done they are waiting for the belts to turn up, he insists that are going to be here tomorro and i for 1 hope they are. he could not appoligise enough bout the delay he got called to a last min job in aussie on thursday and he got back last night. he is going to be sending me a pic of the finished off kits with the teeth all cut and ready to rock&roll so as soon as i get that ill post it up on here, he has also given me the sizes of the belts so ill u2u AndyC now and c how much he can get replacement belts for and also post that up when he has gotten back to me bout them. so all things going good they best be sent out to Gaz tomorro so we SHOULD have them by the weekend (touch wood) (when i have we should have them i mean us in NZ sorry guys but as soon as i have them they will be in the post for all u guys in aussie that have brought them.)
  6. edited just won these for $30NZ so i am happy as the guy said 3 of them are definatly 32/36's he not to sure bout the 4th http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=174725521 so my next question is, what sized jetts do i want to go for this carby? i don't no a thing bout the mechanical side to carbys so ill ask my flatmate to give me a hand while doing it but what do you guys recomend jett wise to suit my 5k? any help is much appreciated guys, cheers, Brodie(reTRD)

  8. hey guys i am looking to upgrade the carby on my 5k i was really wanting to go sidedrafts but i simply can't afford it at the present time. i have been looking into the webber side of things for it. the motor is fully ballenced with standard bottom end hydrolic lifters and all. it is running a lumpy as hell cam (unsure of specs as there are no new markings on there to identify what cam profile or who did it) a proted, polished and shaved 4k head, coby headers into a 2" freeflow exhaust.(and is fully rebuilt under 5,000kms ago) the webber i have come accross is a webber an old guy here in my home town (in NZ) there is a stamping on the side of it saying "34 DCHD" and "6L" i was wanting to no if any1 knows if this of going to be of any use to me (as it is a good price of NZD$50) he is unsure what it is off but thinks he pulled it of his old mark 2 GT cortina years ago. if i do get it ill be rekitting it so i no where i stand with it. do you think i wil have to redo the jetts at all and is so what sizes should i go for them? any help would be greatly appreciated.   10. i am in the process of finding that out as i think he is talking shit because they come in all different sizes and widths, if anything i imadgin he is getting made to a width to match the pullys. there is a guy on club k that cam get these belts through his work. i am going to talk to him once i find out a little bit more bout what the belts we are getting (brand/size/width etc) and ill get prices for replacement belts and the availability of them. i am equally as worryed/pissed off bout this but i honestly think he is talking through the hole in his bum bout them beind a custom sized belt. as with a normal belt you adjust the tension via the aulternator, so i don't see how this would be different as there is no tensioners needed for this kit. i truly as sorry for this guys i didnt no this was going to happin and i hope it is going to be an easy fix. ,Brodie(reTRD) i can get gilmer kits for 4age's if there is interest. but ill have to get some number of who is keen 1st + also it would pay for me to get paypal as we went through a bit of shit trying to get a bank transfer done internationally. but hey if u's can get the numbers i can get the kits pic of a 4age kit
  11. got an other e mail from allen today, i was asking if they r done yet and when will we be getting them. (his reply) Hi Brodie. We are just waiting for belts to turn up. They were custom lenth so have been specially made,but no problems. I will be in Austrailia until tuesday. should be ready for shipment before then. cheers Brodie.

  13. or a lighter, its alot easyer to put back on (if ur reusing the old stuff) if you heat up the little bit that conects back onto the window washer. if you heat it up life is just that little bit easyer

  15. like what Taz said. i have managed to get allen to make them with both PCD's so there is no issues with fitment :fuzz:
  16. just got a call from allen, they r cutting the teeth as we speak :fuzz: and he was wanting to comfirm the PCD's for the water pump pully i no there is a couple so i getting him to drill out 2 PCD's of 44.30mm and 55mm so that ways they are more of a universal kit for our "k" motors also to cover my ass so u guys don't get up me about them not fitting ahahahah :fuzz: . ill let u no more when i no more :fuzz: cheers, Brodie(reTRD)
  17. the white walls that have the side walls cut out for the paint are illegal over here in NZ also. because someting bout reducing the structural intregity of the tyre itself. if we get them imported from the use (just for instance) they have to be DOT approved or have some type of saftey standard otherwise they also are illegal. ,cheers Brodie(reTRD)
  18. they had a broken bit on the CNC and had to get 1 in from aussie :sob: hahaha all fixed now tho :hmm: . i am really sorry for the delays but al this is out of my control. I'm hoping to have all the kits ready for shipment mid to late next week.
  19. got a repply from Allen the engineer he has some trouble with the machineing but it is all on track now and the belt's will be turning up on monday and they are also going to start cutting the teeth on monday. here is a pic of them so far :sob:
  20. come to NZ they are everywhere. there is always lots of then forsale on www.trademe.co.nz also, even seen 13b'ed E30 BMW's on there. by what i have read on the net they are real hard on what u can put in a car or what u can do to your car's over there i feel sorrt for ya's ay. we pretty much got free reain as long as it passes certifacation for the mods (even then they not as strickt as u guys)

  22. cheers for ya help si. when i habe some spare time ill send ya some pic of my car and what i was thinking to do with the intercooler. the cooler i got if bout 70mm thick and is bout the size of an opened out exercise book, i was wanting to use a smaller cooler to keep the pipe lenghth down to keep it nice and responcive. ill get pics once we find out camra again we think its at the wifes work (or at leas we hope that where it is or its lost ;)) cheer's, Brodie(reTRD)
  23. can some1 please tell me how much this setup was for the whole kit including the HID set up. i have been thinking bout something like this for my kp60 bugeye starlet as is uses the same headlights as a ke30/35. also could you get a pic of the lights on at night time? cheers
