Time for an update! Finally it runs. Just with the 4ac for now but at least it goes. enough talking more with the pics the old car will not be going back together but if anyone wants it the way it is in the pics they can have it!

Alright, been a while since i've updated done a bit but not heaps. heres the new wagon sorry the pics arent great, took them the night i bought it then it went into the shed and the 4k and box came out took the diff and the springs out of the AE and put them in the KE other things i've done Changed over the AE and KE cross members Remover the pedal box from the AE Put the AE exhaust on Things still to do Remove KE pedalbox and install AE one Fit cluth master and line Install seats then put in the 4ac and t50 Drive the sucker!

Roo-i love how you've got shoes holding that kit up! i'm not a big fan of kits on e7s. there are some out there that look good but agreed, it would be way to hard to get it to fit properly. garden edging lip all the way

update time! I've bought a new wagon!! A yellow Ke70 with a LOT less rust. currently in the process of changing everything from the AE the KE. I'll take some pics tomorrow.

the springs are great, totally changed the car. the new motor still isnt in yet but should see some progress with the next couple of weeks

Hey guys, I've been thinking for a while now that i should create a ride thread for my car so here it is! a few of you may already know the car and have seen it around. Ive had the car for over a year a now and its turned out to be a very reliable daily. Its still relativly standard still running the 5speed and 4ac. Has XT130 LCAs and reset leaves lowered 3 inches overall. Thankfully the wagon is no longer my daily, managed to pick up a running SV11 camry for FREE! So now i can start work on the much needed rust repairs and do some bigger mods to it. these were taken a couple of days after it was treated to a few cans of aussie export and with the reset leaves and a couple of the rust....OUCH!! thanks for looking Moz

spotted on saturday night (4th july) an orange (?) ke20 going round blacks rd round about. i was on the mini bus giving an overly enthusiastic thumbs up

hey mate, sounds like you've set up your timing to the exhaust stoke and not the compression. you need to take your dizzy out, turn the crank 360 degrees, put the dizzy back in and it should start. good luck, let us know how it goes Morris

i sprayed my wagon with cans of aussie export. Silver and matte black. Its no pro job but its half decent and has held up ok. Sand paper and paint all up would have been like $30. Matte colours work better long term. Gloss just tends to fade. Check out some of the pics on my profile. And see what u think

REAPER is a red mr2 i always used to see it and the gold rolla in aldgate and stirling when i lived up that way

thanks for ur input guys. Looks like an engine conversion is off the books for a while. Going to look at fixing the cancer and suspension first.

Does anyone know of anyone or any good places that can and would be willing to fix the rust in my car? i know i could probably do it myself but i simply don't have the time and would be so much happier if my car had less/no rust. thanks guys

Yea not the first time i've heard that. Would be nice to do something different other than a 4age though. 3tgte's aren't really that common anymore are they? and i'd like to keep it a toyota motor. thanks for your points though, very helpful.

hey guys and girls, i was just wondering if anyone had put an 18r motor into a ae71? i want to know how easy it is, what needs to me modified and if you all think it would be worth it. i already have the motor too! also want to know if the 18rc head can easily be replaced by the 18rg. let me know.
