ok so i do not need new seat rails, the levers were there all along, the seats are the opposite way around. So the drivers rail is on the passengers side and vice versa. So there fore I no longer need to get these as my seats do infact move backward and forward yay

Hi thanks for that guys, been a bit slack on this issue haha Are there any threads on these upgrades with step by step on how to do it?? Iv searched for ages but still have not found anything, I'm think i will go to Ke70 front disks and then get slotted rotors and my mate works at bendix so i can get bendix brake pads cheap :)

No I havent spoken to Peter Robinson, I shall google him now and see if i can get a phone number and I will give him a call on monday or tuesday and see if i can get the parts. I called one wreckers in melbourne who had a ke20 and they kept saying that they would call me back, but never gave me a call back!! So lets hope this gives me what I need as i want my car on the road, sick of the dero's on the bus!!!

Hey Guys, I only just discovered this thread and I have been here for quite some time now ;) I am from Ballarat, not to sure how many other ballarat people there are, so would be great to know if there are any others out there ;) So my storey is I sold my mitsubishi VR4 Legnum which was on the Road and driving for a 1973 Ke20 Corolla which is currently still not RWC but it is almost there (thank goodness) So hopefully my car will be ready for the next cruise to catch up with a few people and also to catch a bit of inspiration as well. As I do want to do an engine transplant eventually :D and a bit of forced induction :D

Hi guys, I seem to having alot of issues getting seat rails for my stock ke20 seats now the question.. Is it possible to mod seat rails from other ke series to suit the ke20 seats, this is one thing that i require for RWC as I don't have the leaver to adjust the seat forward and backward, and i really want to get this car on the road and show it off finally :D Cheers

Super lites are the way to go in my oppinion, thats what i will be fitting under me ke20, they look sweet

Hey man, progress is getting there =] and congrats on the supercharger what were your reasons behind choosing a super charger over a blowthrough turbo setup... Just that we seem to have similar wants for our 5k ke20's and I have no idea on cars :D i just look and like haha If you would prefer to inbox details feel free :D

Yea man it was great sitting at the lights, smashed a stock BA V8 ute, 180sx (stock) and pretty much all vl,vr,vs commonwhores... I loved it, surprised i didnt lose my license

Hi guys I thought I would post my old ride up on here... As I miss her so so much, and have so many regrets in selling her, but I am happy with my ke20 :? So basic details of the car were: * twin turbo V6 * Evo 5 recaro drivers seat * AWD * AYC * Evo 5 bonnet * Stock rims * All the cool things like climate control * blistein coil overs prob alot more just forgotten haha well here are some pics 4 days after having her I did this, very very very costly for being an absolute idiot!!!! Took an 80km/h bend at 120 km/h and slid straight into a tree!!! and $7000 later and it was fixed After it got fixed a friendly cricket match with some guys from church this happened with a cricket ball, and the damage was $850 Then not long after that was done a guy reversed into my car and left me this surprise the bonnet was stuffed, and the front of the car was twisted... So i sold it like this for 5300 and i paid 15000 for this car 12 months prior to selling it. I had the worst luck with that car, and lost alot of money... Lets just hope the corolla is alot nicer to me haha but donwgrading from a newer car to an old car really does take alot to get used to :fuzz:

Well though i will finally put up the progress of my sleeve with pictures, they arent they best quality as i used my iphone and sometimes taking a photo by ya self doesnt work too well haha This sleeve also has a theme, who can guess it??? :fuzz: first session The angel was pre drawn the chain is free hand Second session This is all completely freehand the whole lot, nothing predrawn :? Third session This is just some shading, and texture for when it is done over again in bright colours :yes: Fourth Session obviously this part isnt finished with colour, as the face, armour, hands, chain needs to be finished, then there will be angels flying down in the background, with a bright blue sky and white fluffy clouds I am up to 19 hours and $1700, I have another 6 hour session in just over a week, so more photos to come :P

nice mate! how long did that take?? I'm upto 19 hours on my sleeve and no where near finished, its going to be half finished for quite sometime soon :fuzz:

ahhhhh hahahaha question has been answered, didnt think my car had such low KM's on it, but my car is in exceptional condition so I spose I'm just a lucky ke20 owner :fuzz:

Yea they other thing i was thinking was maybe a turbo setup with the webbers, but i know next to nothing about engines and have no idea if this would work :fuzz:

Sweet I'm thinking of going down that road as well, so i will be watching this closely to see what needs to be done. Webbers are great just wouldnt mind something with a bit of boost :fuzz: I miss my twin turbo haha.......

Loving the progress of this ke20 Have you decided whether you will be doing a supercharger or a turbo on the 5k? or not sure still?

Hi guys, My car has a speedo which shows both kmh and mph and it shows that i only have 76000 done... I'm guessing this might be incorrect as if the km's were this low i would have had to pay alot more for my car... Was the the standard speedo that came in the 20's?? also my car is a 73 model

Most of my time is consumed by work and church Used to play guitar in a metal band :dance: Getting INK - I have a sleeve in the works WOOOOOOO and the rest is sleeping constantly, one of the downsides of crohns is that i lack motivation to do anything so I laze around doing nothing

No i don't I bought the car like this, all I know is that it is classed as black/purple pearl... its really quite a nice colour though :dance:

Hey guys bit of an update... car isnt to far off registration now =] been busy with work so havent had time to touch it However, the darn thing wont start ARGH... i sprayed some 'start ya bastard' into the webber manifolds and it tried to start, but just would not start... so might have to try and get someone to give me a hand to clutch start her and see how that goes

oh i might have my car ready for this, so i will be extremely keen for this ;)

I will be watching this thread, as i already have a 5 k with twin webbers, so i would love to have a turbo setup along with the webbers :dance:
