The KE70 Shell went to Scrap today! :dance: After the guy came, we booted down to Pinch-a-Part Campbellfield, and saw only 1 KE55, which is absolutely overrated. We grabbed the L/H Guard Hockey Stick, only 'cause it was perfect. :) We got back, and did a little more Progress of Prepping for Paint, and also picked up a few ideas. :jamie: We took off the Driver's Door Handle (thanks to Ryan - SLO-030, for info), and also changed over the Front Wheels, my 14" Magnums over to the KE70 Stockies. We decided to put on the Nanna-Visor, our KE35 Hubcaps (For Sale), and some Tyre Shine, to see what it COULD look like IF it was Painted Bamboo. :) Tomorrow we're gonna hook into Sanding the Car back ready for the High Build Putty, and Kick the Windscreen out (not Literally). :) Woz & Josh :cool:

pinch a part campbellfeild has a fairly neat ke 55 panels where all straight interior was not bad josh and i went at lunch time today not much has been raped off it cheers woz

Ok. So today, we went BALISTIC Strippin' the Ke70 to almost Bare Shell, and is ready to be picked up for Scrap tomorrow. :dance: We've also moved Ollie's location from Up the Sideway, to Under Mum and Dad's Alfresco. :D We made $40 today, thanks to Paul, but still gotta save up for a 20L Drum of Acrylic Thinners for the Paint. :) After spendin' 5 to 6 Hours of Stripping the Ke70, we decided to throw in extra things that need to go, and take a photo. :y: Woz & Josh :cool:

Oh. Maybe I was talking about the Ke70 Diffs. :) But I know that the Ke36/38's has 4.5's.

Yeah. Dad told me to learn in something slow with no power-steering so I actually know How to drive a car. :) Thanks guys. Gonna stick with the K-Motor. Just wanted to know what was involved for 3S-GE, and obviously, A LOT needs to be done. Cheers guys, Josh :cool:

I don't have a budget yet. I think I might stick with the K-Motor. Work it, Low-Comp, Intercooled SC12, and Twin-Sidies. :)

Yeah. If I decide not to do the conversion, I'll spend the money on a Worked 5K with Twin-Sidies - something I can do ON my L's and P's. Then I'll throw on a SC12 on the Day I get the Full License. :)

I plan on keeping it until it dies - hopefully not into a car/pole! I just want to know what's required to do the conversion. If there's too much to do, I'll stick to the good ol' 4K. :)

Yeah. I just want to focus on getting Ollie finished now for the Road, so I can cruise in it on my L's and P's. When I get a job, I'll put all the money aside for the conversion. I'm still 50/50 on it. It'll definitely be after my P's. :)

Ok then. Would I be better off dropping it off to a Workshop that does Full Engine Swaps and leave them to it?

Haha. I'm gonna stick with the 4K for the moment. What brakes should I use 'cause I was planning on doing the conversion after my P's. :)

Hey guys, I just want to know what's required for a Beams 3S-GE + 6-speed Conversion into a Ke36 Panelvan? Would it involve using Angle Grinders, Welding, Fabricating? It sounds like a pretty cool conversion. I just want to know what's required to do it. And I also want to know what's also required for VIC RWC? Cheers, Josh :cool:

The Standard Ratio of the Ke30, Ke35 and Ke55 is 4.30:1, but the Ke36 and Ke38 had 4.50:1. :)
