  1. Not that it's a Corolla, but saw the Matte Black 180sx that was at the JDMST DFO Meet, drifting the Sunbury Shell-Servo Roundabout, and pulling into the Servo while I was filling up dad's car tonight. The sound of the 1UZ in it was just awesome. Best sounding V8 I've heard for a while. :) Josh
  2. Nah. Just a bonnet scoop for Air Intake. :)
  3. Saw the "WINZA" Orange KE55 Coupe going down Sydney Rd / Hume HWY on Saturday Arvo around 1.30pm. No rego or anything, just the made up "WINZA" plates on it. Sounds tough as.
  4. Hey guys, Time to upgrade to something newer, so for sale is my daily 1998 Series-1 VT Commodore Executive Wagon. It has had 2 owner's before me. I bought it off a surfer last year at 265,000km's, and before him, it was his Grandmother's car from new. It has a Strong Ecotec 3.8L V6, back by a 4-speed Auto. The Engine has done around 291,000km according to Odometer, and still goes well for it's age. It will need to be serviced soon. It gets great fuel economy. A full tank lasts me a whole week, and I travel from Sunbury to Campbellfield, and back Monday to Saturday. It is Raven Blue in colour (Factory - Hard to find). Paint is good for it's age. The only paint fade is in the Driver's Side A-Pillar, but rarely noticable. It has Genuine 17" VT SS Mags, but the tyres aren't the best. . It has FE2 Suspension all 'round (Factory Fitted). The Front Castors Bushes were replaced 6 months ago. The Brakes all around are very good. Has had new Front Performance Brake Pads fitted 1 month ago. There is no shudder under braking. Interior is in great condition. It has been a non-smoker's car. No rips or tears in all the Seats or Carpets. The rear cargo blind works a treat. The seatbelts aren't frayed. It has electric door-mirrors, and electric-tilt driver's seat. It has a Pioneer CD Player Fitted. Little accessories I have fitted since purchase are Calais Chrome Grilles, and Clear Front Guard Indicator Lenses, and Wind Deflectors on the Front Doors. It has been a great reliable daily, and parts transporter for me, and I'm sure it will be for the purchaser. I'm chasing $3,000 ono. No Swaps. I have already bought a new car. Includes Rego till January 2013. I will hold the plates until a RWC is Produced. Car will be sold as is without a RWC. I'm sure it wouldn't need much for a RWC, other than tyres. Car is located in Sunbury, VIC 3429. All Inspections are welcome. Contact via PM, or Call/Text 0448 533 471 (after 4pm Weekdays). Photo below is from last year before the Calais Grilles were fitted. I will upload more pics of the car tomorrow. Cheers, Woz
  5. paint specials over atm stay tunned for more specials
  6. Hoping for this too. Going to be an awesome event. Can't wait for it.
  7. Yes. Stock KE30-55, KE70, AE71, AE86 Corolla's have 4x114.3 Stud Pattern. Cheers mate. Farm-spec filter. We ended cleaning up the filter box, and throwing in a spare air-filter we had laying around. :)
  8. Did a wheel rotation yesterday, and looked at the car more thoroughly. We changed the back wheels to some spare R31s we have for Josh's, and put one of the good rear 13s onto the Front Right as the old one was punctured and flat. We then got out some Matte Black Pressure-Pack, and sprayed up all 4 wheels. Looks really tough from the back now. We just need to (again) find some R31s with skinnier front tyres, and get some dress rings, and it'll look pimpin'. Also, we've put up a Wanted Ad for a 1-piece Dash, and some Rust Repair Sections for KE30/55 Sedan. http://www.rollaclub...epair-sections/ Below is a pic of the Rust Repair Sections we're after. Woz, Josh & Joel.
  9. Spent today inspecting the rust in it, the good and the bad of it. Got all the rust cleaned up with a wire brush, and now its ready for some rust converter. then we'll spray some matte black in a pressure pack over it. We also changed the steering wheel and the ignition barrel to ones that aren't stuffed. To all the young people who think silicone fixes rust, it doesn't. The previous owner had fixed some of the rust using silicone, so it was removed it with a wire brush. Below are photos of all the major rust in it, all cleaned up and ready for some rust converter. And one of the new steering wheel and ignition barrel. Above the R-H Tailight. Below the R-H Tailight. Above the L-H Tailight. L-H Rear Window. L-H Front Corner of the Bonnet. New Steering Wheel and Ignition Barrel. Woz.
  10. hey bud feel free to send me a pm on the issues you have and i will see if i can answer them I'm tryin to keep the thread clean on just the build of the rolla not a Q&a time cheers Joel
  11. You should change the Topic Title to "Turbocharged 4K Haltech Injection" now. :D This thing is mad. Need some Vids of the new setup Mitch. Josh
  12. This thing is Awesome !!! Loving pretty much everything about this car. :y: +1. Must see this at Toyotafest. I'll be there in my Panelvan. :) All the best with this mad TE37. Josh
  13. Wow! Will be nominating this for RCOTY again this year. Such an awesome and most original KE70. :y: Josh
  14. Could be this too. Looking at the provided video above, it does look like the problem. Try moving the other wheel and see what happens. :)
  15. Dad mixes paint everyday, and he says the Lexus Pearl White is an awesome colour. It's a 3-layer pearl colour too. Looks great under the sunlight. If not white, I'd vote for another candidate: Voodoo Blue from the VE SV6/SS, and Cruze. Awesome colour. But at the end of the day, it's your car. The colour choice is all up to you. :) Josh
  16. Then it's a single-spinner. If it's just the wheel you're moving and the tailshaft, it's a single-spinner diff. :)
  17. If you're spinning one of the rear wheels, and the other one goes the other way or stays still, it's an open-wheel / single-spinner diff. There's a technical name for it that I was taught a few months ago, but I've forgotten it. :) Keep up the good work. :y: Josh
  18. Been driving her around more recently. We took her out to the JDMST meet at DFO Essendon on Saturday. Man was that an awesome show. It was Good to see and talk to other RC members that were there. :) And many thanks to Adam (silverra23) for snapping up this awesome photo of her. :y: Also received these photos that were taken by the Professional Photographers of the Autobarn Good-Friday Charity Event. Woz & Josh
  19. Gotta see this at the June CC&D at Brimbank Park. Pictures look awesome, but can't wait to see this in person. Top Job Ben. :y: Josh
  20. Not much to update. It now lives in the Garage next to Ollie, instead of battering weather. We removed the tailights to inspect the rust in that section, and it's actually not bad. Looks pretty easy to repair. We've also found the colour for it. It's not yellow, or midnight blue either. It's a very wicked Triple-Layer Pearl Colour. We've put some on one of the panels, and it looks really awesome. The plans for this project from this stage are simple: Find one or two parts, Prep and Paint it, Get the Engine Sorted, then RWC and Rego for Joel to learn in. We MIGHT get some photo's up later this week of where we're at, but can't guarantee it. Woz, Josh & Joel.
  21. Your work is really awesome mate. Keep it up. Can't wait to see a vid of it running and/or driving. :y: Josh
