  1. Cheers Jesse. The more I think of the idea of Smaller Wheels and JDM Limo Cruiser, the more I actually want to do it. :) But first, I want to sort out the Engine and whatever else that needs to be sorted out, then I'll start making it look better. Josh
  2. This is one very nice KE20 mate. Looks really awesome. :y:
  3. Well yes, something like those will be tough. I do eventually want to lower it a little bit, but I'll wait for some nice Mags to come first, then I'll decide. :) There's a Silver VX SS up the street from me with some Dished 19s in Black with a Polished Chrome Lip very similar to Rota RBXs, but 10-spoke. It looks very cool, and makes me want to do the same with the Cressie. I saw an MX73 on gumtree that had like a JDM spoiler on the bootlid. When I saw it, thought straight away "gotta have one". I also want to get a roof-spoiler for the top of the rear window. Saw one on an MX83 and looks really awesome. Might have to hunt around for one from another manufacturer, or get one made up. But all this is just little things that can be done later. More of a Want than a Need really. Josh
  4. For when the old Mechanical Fuel Pump sits, I went down to Autobarn and got a 350 Chev Blank Plate. Goes straight on -- just make sure it's the right way up. :)
  5. Thought I might update on this Ocean Liner. So recently, I had one of the Technicians at Holden who has over 30 years experience come around to suss out what this Vibration in the Cressie is. Engine wise, there is a "murmur" in the engine -- something very little in the electronic department breaking down, affecting the whole engine. So for this, we were told, and doing one by one, replacing the Ignition Coil, the Dizzy Cap, and the "Silver thing that sits on top of the Coil". I received my brand new Coil yesterday - now just need to find the time to fit it. Other than the slight misfire, there is nothing wrong with the Engine, not even a shot Head-Gasket. ..........yet. If the Coil isn't the Problem, I will take up your offer fairly soon, pending if we need it, and if you still have it. :) As far as the rest of the car, the Tyres are over 10 years old ( :D ), so either replacing them or finding a set of nice 17" mags is required. We may suspect that the Tailshaft Uni's are gone as there is a Vibration in the rear of the car which intesifys as you speed up. And every now and then, I wash it to keep the dust and cobwebs off the Cressie, and Start and Idle it to make sure the engine is still in good running order. :) I'm now just getting the cressie fixed up very slowly as I'm in no rush, but come April/May next year, I'll hook into getting it RWC. The next thing that will be looked at will be the brakes, because they're starting to sound a little Rusty. And another thing I discovered with this Luxo-Barge -- 80s Blue Velour Interior + Hot Sun = A Melbourne Heatwave. It gets really Hot in the Heat. But lucky enough, it has a Tilt and Slide Sunroof. :) Josh
  6. How are they going to know if you port the heads or not? It's not like they're gonna pull apart half your engine upon scrutineering is it? I really really like what you're doing with this. Take a basic common Commodore, and make it a race car in some sort of budget. Very good work. :y: Can't wait till you fit these engine parts and the semi-slicks, and see the results from them. :) Josh
  7. Police were there today when dad drove past it around 12pm-ish. We were thinking it might have been a fellow Rollaclub or TCCAV member's car, so I thought it might have been worth mentioning onto here. :)
  8. I have a Holley 180 on mine. :)
  9. But some, like myself, like the Old-School Coolness of 2-Barrel Carbys, especially with the Engine and Induction Noises they make when the Secondaries open up. :D
  10. Not much recently. Changed the wiper blades, because it needed new ones. Other than that, I just look at it. :) Josh
  11. For the last 2 days now, there's a bamboo ke35 hardtop just sitting at the bottom of the bulla hill in the service lane right next to the creek with the driver's window down and no plates on it. Either it's stolen and dumped, or just dumped waiting for someone to just take it.
  12. That looks sooo much fun. Love the exhaust note with the sidepipe. Very good work with making this a Track Car. :y: :y: :y: My old man had a VT S-Pac V6 Factory Manual and LSD a few years ago, and what a fun car that was. Watching these videos make me miss it more. :) I noticed your Red AE71 that's currently on Ebay. All the best with the sale of that, and the proceeds to go towards making this VT more of a beast. Josh
  13. Here's a link to what we did. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/29071-joshs-ke36-panelvan-project/page__st__315 :) Josh
  14. Woo! Another KE36/38 on Club Reg in the TCCAV. Can't wait till it's done. :) Josh
  15. When we did the engine swap in panelvan, we took the gearbox down to the 24 hour car wash next to bp with some degreaser. We soaked it with the degreaser, and blasted it with the high pressure gernie till it was clean enough. Then brought it home, sat it in the sun to dry, and painted it silver. :)
  16. Looks very clean mate. :y: What other plans do you have for this beast? Josh
  17. On the train going to ACE Docklands during the week, kept seeing a Yellow KE30 with Black Race-Stripes on it just after Footscray Station. The Fairlane behind it was White also with Black Stripes on it. :)
  18. Went to Attwood on Sunday. We'd like to congratulate those who organised and ran the event. Was really awesome seeing some Daily and Track + Drift cars on the course. :y: Got this photo in the afternoon of the day when there was sunlight. :) Josh
  19. That's exactly the idea/thought we had kp61. Only problem is, it's a dark colour, and there's too much panel at the rear-half of the car. Josh
  20. Thanks chris. They didn't with for us either, the main reason why we ditched them. But everything else that's on it fits the bill perfectly. I just want to find a nice set of roof racks like yours, and the style/theme is complete. :)
  21. Well they're off now, and I don't think they'll be going back on for a very long time. It was something we thought we'd try out, but obviously they don't work too well on Windowless Panelvans. Josh
