  1. Hey all, As title states, required is a KE30 3K Engine Wiring Diagram for the "Joely-Rolla". The wiring is there, but we don't think it's wired correctly. After throwing in a working battery, it cranks, but won't fire. We reckon it might have something to do with the Coil side of things. If someone has a photo, book, diagram, or knowledge of one, please let us know by either posting/sharing the photo, or section of a book of it. :) It might not be much help, but below is a photo of the engine bay with the coil and wiring in it. Cheers, Woz, Josh & Joel.
  2. Got ourselves another 'Rolla today, but this one is for Josh's younger brother, Joel. We scored it off a guy who had it sitting on his farm in Craigieburn. It's a December-1974 Aussie-built KE30 2-Door Sedan in Blue. It has a 3K and 4-speed (won't start because of wiring issues), and we found out it originally had a 3K-H in it according to the firewall tag, but was swapped out for a standard 3K in it now. It is an "L" edition (as badged - not too sure what it means). It has black leather seats and cards, black carpet, black dash, and other cool bits and two spare head gaskets. The dash-top is cracked, and it's a one-piece dash unfortunately, so we'll get that fixed soon. It also has an aftermarket FM-Stereo System with only 2 speakers at the front, which works. It has a hacked ignition-barrel, but we're going to swap it out for a spare one we have. It didn't come with keys, so we're gonna get some Solex Locks for it. It is also missing the L/H Rear Window, as it was smashed in by the previous owner. If someone has one for sale, or can point us in the right direction of where one is for sale, it'll be appreciated. It's a fairly neat body, with some minor rust here and there, nothing we can't fix. It will cop a respray. The paint is starting to fade, and it looks like it's been professionally resprayed a long time ago. There are also a few dents here and there, but will be easy this time around. For now, Joel's thinking of going Midnight Blue, or a Bright Yellow of some sort. As far as the powerhouse, we don't have any plans for it yet, apart from extractors and (if we can find another one) Holley 180. Other than that, trying to get it to start would be awesome. Overall, it's a good base, and looks to be a good project in front of us. If we can get it started after sorting out the wiring issues, we'll be rapped. :) Anyways, here are the pics. Any comments / feedback / suggestions welcomed. We were surprised when we saw this, and laughed. Next to Ollie. Woz, Josh & Joel
  3. Good Point. V8 would sound better and would be much cooler. :)
  4. Progress looks good Jesse. You should go over to Pinch-a-part Campbellfield and grab those doors on the White KE55 in there while you still can. :) Josh
  5. Edited plans list. Awesome find Adam. All the best with it. Josh
  6. Beast! Glad you got it man. Ghetto Sled v2.0..... Josh
  7. This is today guys / girls It's for charity even if you just go have a look we are going after lunch cheers woz
  8. yeah we are gonna pull em out the shed, paint the centres, give them a polish, and find 215/60s for the rears, 185/60s for the fronts, and see how they look on it. if we like it, we'll leave them on. cheers woz
  9. To be honest, we didn't really take note. It was just sad looking at it completely rusted sitting in a wreckers yard. Got some pics here I forgot to upload because of slow, maxed-out wireless internet. Josh
  10. Good to see some progress Jesse. :) When you pop over on the weekend, you'll be able to check out my KE36. Josh
  11. Got the new diff fitted. Also tracked down a KE55 Tailshaft because the one that was in it didn't line up to the Borgy, and the uni's were welded in by the previous owner. :blinks: We also fitted new-er Shocks because the one's in it were rooted. So it's all in, and she's running sweet. No more 4K revving it's tits off at 100km/h. :D Just for a laugh. The rear's on 13" stockies. :) Woz & Josh
  12. There's a (rather sad) White KE26 Wagon in Andy's Autos Campbellfield, and the Red KE38 Panelvan is still in there! :) 1 White KE55 Sedan Auto, and 2 Blue KE70 Sedans - 1 Auto, 1 Manual, in Campbellfield Pinch-a-part.

  14. Hahaha. You and a lot of my mates on faceplant think the same. No, it's not Ollie. Woz & Josh
  15. Thought we'd share this with Rollaclub members. Tomorrow morning is a Kruze for Kids car show at Autobarn Sunbury to raise money for the Royal Children's Hospital. All proceeds goes to the Good Friday Appeal. Would be a great oppotunity to take out and show your Corolla or Old Car. Woz & Josh
  16. Looks like a good project base Paul. That bumper looks really minty. Any long-term plans for it? What colour are you going to respray it? All the best with it. Josh
  17. Early KE3x by the looks of the dash.
  18. Sunroofs are awesome to have. Plan C. Josh
  19. Very nice KE35 mate. Good work. :y: Josh
  20. That is very good work mate. Looks awesome. :y: Josh
  21. Cheers mate. :y: The new 4.11 diff should bring the revs down from 4000rpm+ to around 3700-3800rpm, but I'd still like to have a 5th gear, even though it only brings the revs down 500rpm or so. But, the 4-speed will do the job for now. :) Josh
  22. Better than the diff that's in it now. It's around 4.5 or so. Either way, she needs a new diff under her. 4.11 gears should be fine. If it's still a bit too high, then we'll go shopping around for a K50 5-speed. :) Josh
  23. Saw a Yellow KE35 Hardtop in the Caltex Servo in Glenroy around 1pm today. Drove past in the Panelvan. :)
  24. We were out cruising in the Panelvan today, as well as a family birthday dinner. :) That's pretty good for a minorly weight-ruduced AE82 Luke. Any other times from today? Josh
