  1. Very very nice find Troy. Not too many of these in this condition today. :y: Josh

Looks awesome mate. :y: Uploading multiple pictures depends on the size of the picture file. If it's above 2MB, I recommend you resize it. Go into Paint, Resize the picture (Ctrl-W) from 100 to about 25 (in percentage), then save it (Ctrl-S). Then you shouldn't have a problem uploading multiple photos at once. :) Josh
  3. What a Beast! Must be a rocketship with the Carby 4AG in there. Top Job Cian. :y: Josh
  4. Ah. Didn't look at the post times properly. :bash: What other plans do you have for this car Brae? Josh
  5. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/57034-ke-55-corolla/ :) Looks very nice mate. :y: It's gonna be absolutely mental with a Supercharged V6 in it. Are you going to go L67, or a different V6? Josh
  6. Filled out and sent my membership application form to the TCCAV. One step closer to Club Rego. Now that the Smurf is gone, we should be able to do some more work on this while dad's got his Christmas Holidays. :) Josh
  7. Looks very cool Lance. Good find. :y: Josh

  9. Sold. Gone to a good home. :) Woz.
  10. Cheers Altezzaclub. :y: I know that the most common problem with the 32/36 on a 4K is bogging down on full throttle, which needs the jets tuned to make it work properly on a 4K. But this one being a 34, it won't bog down too much on throttle because of the smaller secondary jets. It won't be raced - just a nice Sunday Cruiser to learn and drive in. And a decently-sized Weber will give the 4K some Chop. If I can find a Complete 28/32 Weber with a Manual Choke, I'll definitely consider that one, but if I can't, I'll get a 32/34 (maybe this one if it's still for sale in a months time). :) Josh
  11. Hi guys, Dad and I have been surfin' eBay for the last few weeks for Weber Carbys for Ollie, and we stumbled across this one. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-WEBER-32-34-DMTL-CARB-CARBY-LANDROVER-LAND-ROVER-/330605977866?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4cf9a6e10a It's a 32/34 Weber Carby with Manual Choke from a Land Rover (presumably from an older model one). I asked dad if it would work on my 4K, and he said he couldn't see why not, having smaller jets than the very common 32/36. I'm not saying he's wrong because I'd like to get one, but before I go out and buy one, I wanted to ask, and get opinions and suggestions from the brains of the "Weber on K-Engine" people if it would work on a 4K. Dad works with someone who knows his stuff about Land Rovers, and the guy said that these are pretty hard to come by. All Suggestions, Opinions and Feedback will be appreciated. :) Josh
  12. Awesome to see another KE36 on here. :) Josh
  13. Hahaha. Hopefully. As I said, this beast looks the goods. Hope to see it one day. :) Josh
  14. Toyota never made a 5K-E (as far as I know), but the 7K-E EFI Kit does work on 4Ks and 5Ks. People on here have done the conversion before, and they have worked. It also gives more power when it's all tuned properly. :) I seriously do not see the point in having a Diesel in a KExx Corolla. By time you get the engine and do all the conversion, you'd have more money buying Petrol with what you have now than if you did a Diesel Conversion. But if I had to go for one, I'd get a Turbo Diesel out of the 2008-2010 Hiace. Josh
  15. Will you be bringing this Rig when you do come around to look at it? Keen to see this beast in person. :) Josh
  16. This car looks grouse Gavin. :y: That's no good about the RWC. Just whip the blocks out and sort out the chassis with a Welder. Josh

When we did the engine swap for Ollie, we took off the K40 Gearbox, and headed down to the Local Carwash, and hit it with their Degreaser and High-Pressure Rinse. Came up pretty clean. Then we headed back home to let it dry in the sun, and then we hit it with some Silver and Satin Black out of some Pressure Pack Cans we had kickin' around. :) Before: After: Josh
  19. This looks very very cool Jarrad. Top Job. :y: Josh
  20. +1. Don't go Diesel. Getting the Engine and all the Diesel Gear is more costly than a 4AGE conversion itself. If you don't want to put in a 7K-E, get yourself a 5K and put the 7K EFI Kit onto it. A 5K is a drop-straight-in conversion, whereas the 7K will need a few modifications to fit the engine into the bay. I don't 100% know these modifications, but I heard from someone you need to do some Mods to the sump, and Mods to other things to fit it into a KE3x/5x. :) Josh
  21. Sidepipe straight from the extractors.
  22. Cheers Mason. I knew that since the day we put them on. I might go for some 185/55s for the Front because they rub on the Strut Tower on Full Lock both ways, and I'll go 215/55s for the Rear. I really like the look of the Fats under the rear arches now, so I'll leave the 215s, but put on thinner side-walls. :) Josh
  23. It's from what I heard off someone.
  24. There are many injected Toyota engines out there than you could drop into your KE30. 1. a) One of the easiest, an EFI Intake Kit from a KR42R Townace. ... b) If not the Injection kit itself, a 7K-E Engine from a KR42R Townace. 2. The most common, the 4A-GE conversion. 3. A 2T-GEU from a TA22 Celica, but by the time you waste your money and time on the conversion, the 4AGE would be more worth it in the end. 4. A 3S-GE Beams from an Altezza. It might be a bit of a costly conversion, but it's more fuel efficient, and more powerful than a 4A-GE. There are many options out there. An "FE" engine isn't the best for Power, but certainly is fuel efficient. If you're going to go for an A-series engine, and put all your money, time, and effort into it, a Powerful engine like the 4A-GE, or the 4A-GZE (Supercharged) would be the better option. I haven't done these conversion, but these are just options you could consider. :) Josh
  25. I don't really want to, and I'm not going to use it as a daily. I will only drive it on weekends and to Rolla meets. And also, I'm just starting a school-based apprenticeship course, so I can't afford Two full regos in a year. Josh
