On a good note with the engine, its all stripped to bits now, thanks Craig, block and crank are off to Sheppards first thing monday moring for machine and dip/hone, fingers crossed its back before the long weekend so the assembly can begin. Right, now its time to clean all my little bits up, throw a bit of degreaser here and there, bit of paint also, throw some cam seals in and dizzy o ring Heres the knocka knocka..

Nah, got my freak run mid afternoon, managed consistant 14.6's in it all night through eliminations till last run when i had the engine issue. Half pulled down engine last night, number one bigend has spat it, nothing a set of rings, bearings and a crank machine wont fix ;)

So i raced the rolla at tassie nats on the weekend, had a blast, no locked diff, standard engine/ecu, no turbo's or suparchargers, just a 40hp shot of nitrous in her belly Managed to get a best run of 14.3 with a 2.0 sixty footer, pretty good going for a tired engine really! Anyway, last run it ran a bit dry on oil, was blowing a bit of smoke aparently, so engines out already, time for a set of rings and bearings.

anyone got a spare diff for me so i can weld up for Tassie Nats?

Stupid question here, think ive done something really stupid.. on the rocker covers there is a breather line... right, so when thats blocked up up completely.. what could happen internally? i did it, went for a very short drive, pulled up at intersection and noticed heap of smoke from exhaust, lifted bonnet and unblocked breather line, and it went pssssssssssssssssst and let all this air out of the head, then i drove home but now has a bad miss under acceleration, its fine at idle, just not under load Cheers for all your help people prewer

Has anyone here in AUS ran a 4AGE with a wet system down the 1/4?

Ive got some red top 4age injectors up for sale. Brand new - remanufactured $80.00

All problems pretty much sorted now, new injectors in, all flowed and cleaned, idle problems sorted, all sensors plugged in and doing their thing. End result, I'm pretty happy with this, not as powerfull as other cars ive owned, but this one is actually pretty fun/funky to drive. Now, time to clean the body up, and get these coilovers built! also bump steer is a bitch...

Idle problem was that when i got my acc cable modified, i got it done 5mm too short, solvered now though!!! Well, its officially back on the road now. Still got a few teething problems though, but ill nut them out in due course. Need to got a thermo fan on there pretty soon, don't like sitting and ildling for too long. Also, might have to get another muffler put in, its far too loud for my liking, its pretty much the same setup that i had when i had the 4AC, but now its just stoopid. Time to celean the shed up now, build a deck for the backyard then by them ill convinvce the fiance its time to get some fresh paint on this!!

Get injectors back tomorow, then check timing and see if i can get it to idle under 2 grand :)

Well got this wired up over the weekend, few issues here and there, but got there in the end. Took it for a spin earlier, not tuned at all at the moment, idle at 2 grand, maybe vacum leaks, maybe something else, not sure, will look into it this week, have massive CBF at the moment. Exhaust is all done, it smells like a go car at the moment, have the wrong size injectors in it at the moment, pretty sure they are maxing out their duty cycle, sending the standard ones off to melbourne tomorow to get cleaned and revamped, the fit em up and see how we go Also need to put a banjo bolt on the end of the clutch slave line, it the braided line at the moment is hitting on the headers, so with that on it should be all good, have a speed flow fitting here to be fitted, ill get around to it this week. Oh, and f@$k this thing is loud, sounds like a gokart on steroids! got headers with 2 inch piping, hotdog and straight through twin tip muffler.. Pics later ron, also a video

As tittle states, which plugs off vehicles fit the 4AGE ECU I have some grey camry ones, i thought it was an SV21, but i may be wrong.. Can anyone give specific vehicle details as to what vehicles have the same plugs so i can go raid my local wrecker cheers

Just picked up my ECU, now realised i have the wrong plugs, some kent told me SV series Camry are the same... well they are not!! Time for plan B..

Fuel lines all sorted Headers mounted up Clutch bled with new braided clutch slave line Oil in Water in All that awaits is a wire up tomorow night and hit the key! Then off to mr exhaust shop to get old two inch system modified to suit new headers

Was told its over-rated for what it is, so i removed it.. As for changes, had to get inlet manifold tig welded to fill up a couple of holes, also shorter manifold studs :D
