  1. Member Name - Ben Area - Toowoomba Daily Drive - Holden Apollo (camry thingo), And My CA18 KE70 Corolla when its finished
  2. You asking if thats my car? Mines in the shed haha, daily is a dirty red holden apollo.. Anyone see that datto ute with the CA18det in it? with a ghetto crossover pipe no cooler, and a pretty interesting dash install.. looked dodge as.. didnt have a mod plate, doubt it would pass roady.. also saw a few things that did crack me up, T25 that was apparently off an RB20 standard, with ball bearings.. Ah a CA18 T4 top mount manifold marked as an SR18 lol, oh and watched a stall holder get fired up when some guy told him his XY dash wasnt worth what he wanted...
  3. What a turnout!! Lots of stuff to be had if your a HOLDEN owner.. quite disappointed i didnt find anything that relates to me... oh well 3hrs of walking around and i still didnt see every stall there..
  4. going to this if anyone needs me to have a look for parts send me a pm :jamie:
  5. that last ones awesome!! are you a dancer? "no, no no no I'm just drunk" ahhhhhh haha ... love it..
  6. used the 32/36 adapter for a 38/38, and no dfferences, all the same.. get it ordered and slap her on ;)
  7. thats when you unsolder it and put another one in, by that time i should have some terminals
  8. Yeah i have haha, just didnt have any at the time, had a soldering iron and solder so did it this way.. works so i don't mind..
  9. Hows this thing goin dawson? done much on it or is it sittin in the shed like my car is  check out what ive done in my buildup haha
  10. So since christmas/new years, I found a T18 diff cheap, along with some T18 front struts/brakes, Fitted the T18 diff, wired up all the relays, so its all ready to go in a sense, just need engine mounts, tailshaft put the clutch pedal in, chuck ecu in the passenger kick panel and setup a front mount, its slowly but surely getting there, just cash seems to be the main thing slowing it down.
  11. Might go check it out, see what i don't need and buy for the sake of having it ... haha
  12. yeah ive had only 2 G's that wouldnt die, one was bored and stroked to 2L and was out of a rally car, the 2nd was a repotted 1.6L and it just wouldnt die.. ended up throwing that out cause it had basically no rings or compression left.. had one go out in spectacular fashion with a rod exiting the side and leaving a ncie hole in the block, pulled engine out a week later and looked like someone had used the sump for shotgun practice... ;)
  13. Ill go with the G161 gemini engine, in total i destroyed 9 of them, all shattering bottom ends.. not to mention constant head gasket blowouts, noisy timing chains, my HJ ute, 202 with 3 on the tree on gas.. regular 8k gear shifts, never missed a beat..
  14. any more progress on the big girl?
  15. Yeah it has the standard diff that has been slightly tampered with... :)
