In fact I'll have a word with my toyota buddy to see if he can see if there are parts that are similar. also when you say rear suspension 100% same you mean struts and springs etc? So I could get some uprated/aftermarket shocks and springs for an ae86 and it would fit my ke70? if so........... :)

Just searched your thread and yes, there's plenty of info on there alright! Imust have lost interest when they were comparing brands and who's was better :) cheers for info - I think coilovers might be in excess at this ponit considering the rest of the car will be pretty much stock lol sways, progressive springs, shortened shocks I think is the answer for now. Still no answers as to whether the ae86 rear struts bolt up to the ke70 tho ??

Hmm. just searching on tradme, as you guys have alot of ke70 bits and wanted to see if any did international shipping :) Anyway I came across this toyota corona and lookng at the pics the physical size looks pretty much similar to a 4 door ke70?? Just wanted to find out more about them really link here

guys what is the most ost effective and eaiest way to improve the handling of my boggo standardo ke70? I've been told uprated ae86 struts bolt on for the rear :) ive searched but can't find specific info any ideas or links??

hmm........ I see your point. I guess with a car thats like over 20 years old and on the same original suspension parts (can only assume as it's only done 48k miles) maybe it's wiser to stick with 13's and maybe 6 inch wide to minimise any additional stress.....its just sooo hard to find rims in the uk with a 4x114.3 pcd!!!!! this was my inspiration!! awesome dish and rimmage........... :D

Just a quick question - about rims (sorry to tag onto this thread!) I'm looking at buying some ma61 celica-supra rims 7x14 and wanted to know if these buggers will fit on a standard setup and also in the future when i drop it. I might be going for a little bit of a stretched tyre to help and possibly get the arches rolled jdm styleee any ideas?

Well here's my Ke 70 next my KP that I'm trying to sell to fund the rolla! It's a 1981 2 door saloon and is pretty rare here in the uk. I intially wanted an ae86 but prices of those are rising by the minute! then went for the kp that I want to keep although it's a 2k with 4speed! Was going to get some mechanically skilled mates todrop in a 4k and k50 from a 4door ke70 but saw the white 2 door and HAD to have it :D So........... the kp is forsale! Plans for the KE are to keep it singleoverhadcam8valve tyte yo!! and sort the handling first........... any comments or ideas
