  10. so what model sigma am i looking for? do they run the same balljoints and? and what about swaybar mounts? do i need the sigma strut to balljoint mount?
  11. the links only refer to ke70/ae86, not ke35-55. are they interchangable?
  12. hi. i've been hearing a bit about sigma arms bolting into ke35-55s. i was wondering if anyone can tell me what year model sigma arms to get? and how much camber they give. i've got rose-jointed corolla arms at the moment that give me between 0 to 4 deg of neg. but can't get it engineered because they are illegal. thanks
  13. i had a stick locker behind my old 4AGZE and never broke it. as long as you prep it it'll be fine. best way is to pull the crownwheel off, pin spider and side gears out and clean it well with petrol. then pre heat the centre with an oxy or stick it in the oven for a while. doing this will stop the welds from cracking as the centre absorbs the heat from the welds. you will also want to put it back in the oven once you have finished and slowly bring the heat down. this will stop it from cooling down to quickly and stop it from cracking also. don't put bolts and crap in there, it'll just make you look like a dodgy c**t. or you could also get the centre filled with aluminium.
  14. i broke the weld on a side gear once, which means only one wheel gets any drive. 5th gear burnouts not a problem. another way of doing this is pulling the pin out and removing the two spider gears ''leave them out'' and then weld the two side gears. i like to grind a shamfer on the gears befor welding, ''lets you get better penno'' then just grind the spline off which ever axle you don't want to spin. makes the car a little floaty under acceleration and deceleration tho. but it'll make your 3 or 4 k look like it's got 50hp instead of 25.
  15. just move to Tassie. it's legal to have a 13bt in a ke55 down here.
  16. tried that. can't get a straight answer. they'r not very helpful down here. i just wanna know if it can be done. apparently its ok to put a 13bt in an 808 down here, i think they are 1300cc standard? so a Corolla should be doable to i should think. i've got series 6 brakes on it and evry thing has been done properly.
  17. does any one know if it is legal to have a 13b turbo in a ke55 in Tassie????
