I Have a Jig for shortening Hilux diffs i wouldn't mind getting rid of. comes with spacers to shorten 20mm each side from standard ke30-55 which is about far as you can shorten one without having hassles. This allows you to run 8.5inch rims with plenty of clearance from outer guard. But they can be machined down to suit your prefered length. $300 bucks. I will now throw in a hilux diff housing with the jig. 0448075073

yeah they probly did replace them in most cases. the only reason they would be throwing the sti turbos in the bin after every round is because they would be running anti-lag which pretty much rapes the crap out of them. as for spinning backwards i am yet to see any proof as in one on an engine dyno with high speed camera actually showing it spinning backwards. until then i'll put it down to air reversion. i've been running 10psi with a t66 for a while now with no probs and have a few mates with 300+rwkw cars that have no bov that have had zero turbo problems. But it's all down to personal preference at the end of the day.

Fair enought. just through my own experience i havn't seen any benefit from one. neither did the group A ford sierra's running 40+psi, the group B 700hp wrc cars of the 80s, the Champ cars of today or even F1's back in the 80s.

I don't use one and my comp wheel hasn't fallen off yet. they are a wank, they attract attention, they are a waste of money and they sound super gay.

If having a 4sp doesn't worry you then go for a corona box. they are as strong as a series 4 box and are a fair bit smaller. I know a guy thats been running 12's for 8 or so years with a 13bt 808 and corona box, 4th gear burnouts on the pad and he's never had a prob...

didn't know corolla had a 4.3? i've only ever seen 3.9 in auto's and 4.1's in manual. i realy only need axle tho.

yeah but i can't start on that till my new wheels turn up. they are 8's so it will probly need to be shorter than standard. so i need some big rolla 1/4inch axle's to get me out of trouble.

You might wanna take the shroud off the front and put it on the back of the radiator. might find it'll run a tad cooler.

Where did you get that info from? cause it's a load of shit. series 4 are the only ones that have issues with cracking rear plates, wether they are side or front mount it makes no difference. there are cars getting around with 400-500+ rwkw with front mounted engines that have no problems and I am yet to hear of anyone cracking a plate due to front mounting the engine.

Nolathane part numbers for rear springs are 47251 for the front eye's and 47112 for the rear and shackle.

The best thing to do would be to by the 12AT engine, clutch, g/box, Digi1 and fuel pump i have for sale. $2000 and your away.

Just a bit of advise from my own personal experience. I had a 13b bridgey in a ke55 with 51ida webber that made about 200hp atw. But while it sounded cool, turned heads and took my license off me i hated driving it. It was an adsolute f@$kING pig. If you realy want a rota save a bit more and keep your eyeS out for a cheap s4 s5 turbo package.
