  1. On the right side. Its so rare to see other ke2x on the road. I think yours is the 3rd in 2 years
  2. you drove past me today at the back of ormeau i was on the mower. car looks the goods on the road dude.
  3. I had the same problem with my car. I used a petrol powered water blaster and it got most of it off without really damaging the paint underneath. Just about any other method will damage it
  4. Something new. 5 self tappers and it went on a treat.
  5. I'm stripping all the goodies out of the orange ke20 and transferring them into the red 25 and the panelvan. I'm really struggling here.. Should I cut the ke25 guards and fit the te27 flares or just leave it as is?? It'll have a 3tgeu it's starting to look like a te27 replica now..
  6. Notice anything new? :P
  7. A bare shell with no rust not rolling would be worth 900-1000 now work out how much the rust repairs would cost to get fixed and take that away from that figure. If I was in the market for one these are the things I would be thinking. It's probably worth it's weight in scrap depending if there's good panels or not.
  8. I used a ke70 flywheel and pressure plate in my early K50- 3K
  9. 14x8.5 -13 I sold mine. Wish I didn't.. They still produce them though so not that hard to get
  10. Considering selling my corollas.. Or atleast 1 of them. :/
  11. Cheers for that info tally, suspension is next on the list. Installed the K50 over the weekend and I must say it feels like a different car compared to the toyoglide! So much faster.
  12. measurements might help us and check the stub axles to see if their the same diameter
  13. This paint is really rooted! these are after i washed it twice scrubbing the absolute crap out of it. Looks like the original color was bamboo and they've painted yellow house paint over the top. I'm going to drop the front guards in Molasses for a month and that'll clean them up pretty good,
  14. any updates on this?
  15. How much did you let her go for? If you don't mind me asking..
  16. so much rust eeek. must be strong
  17. This 26 is an inspiration. Hope it goes to someone who's going to look after it.. I would have happily bought it for good $$$$
  18. just a quick question guys.. ive been on the hunt for a while and can't find a set of extractors for my k engine. Nothing on ebay or here at the moment, where do you find a set? (QLD)
  19. How's the ride feel with that setup? i was thinking of just buying some tall/fat tyres for the back and just leaving the springs. Only drawback i have with Leaf's is you don't have any camber adjustment. Oh yeah i'm also doing a 5 speed manual conversion on the 25, the auto is about to blow up.
  20. yeah i found out why, i threw in another strut that i have and it fixed it, so the strut must be bent. too bad i couldnt use it though its a different stud pattern. A few updates though, the 25 has 2 inch lowered springs in the front now looks much better :) I get the 20 back in a week from the mechanics and I've decided to go carbied 4AGE in the ke26. 1st one is standard height and second is lowered.
  21. beautiful! looks like it hasn't been touched
  22. its pretty marginal on the front but if you line it up from above its maybe a couple mm out the guard. something is wrong with the other side though.. its sticks out over an inch, checked the offset and they are identical 14x7 +10 .., lined the inside of the wheel up with the grease nipples on the inside and they are the same.. its got me buggered why one sticks out .. maybe a bent strut? look, might have to get it up on a hoist and find out what the go is.. it still drives straight and turns fine.. didn't notice with the stockies because they sit so far inside the guards.
  23. Yeah in thinking of getting something a bit bigger. It's revving its tits off on the highway with the 2 speed auto, needs a k50
  24. Yeah they were apparently the buyer was stuffing him around.. so i just went and grabbed them yesterday. I'm thinking of just doing chopped springs in it, Should gain a bit of camber with a 2-3 inch drop in the front i don't want anything ridiculous as this is my daily.
  25. 14 x 8 rear +10- lines up perfectly with the guard as you look down it. 14 x 7 front +10 4 x 110 SSR Reverse Mesh Falken 195/45/14 tyres Handles so well now! Need to address the front + camber though :/ looks pretty silly at the moment.
