  1. Long weekend was great, got stuck into the coupe. Panels are getting straightened and in epotec this car is delicious, aim is to get mine that straight.
  2. How did you get a KE38 registered with a 2JZ in it?
  3. I would get the head hot tanked and even a bit of port work while it's out. Always nice bolting up a clean new head
  4. +1 for what dave said. Peace of mind and can save you money if it goes sour
  5. I'm just going to flapper disk the welds and get them coated. But yeah haha pretty dodgy. and there's like a plate patch welded on the top of one.
  6. Did you get the head crack tested or just visually inspect it?
  7. Started cleaning down the gearbox this afternoon, work and studying are hindering progress which sucks because I'm so pumped to get this into the car! Funny story about this engine, it was in an ae86 when I bought it but by chance it was in a ke20 before that. Replacing all gaskets and seals that I can get at without stripping the engine down. she runs beautifully and has a 12 PSI pulley as well as a JDM bellhousing. winning!
  8. Yeah you're right, I bought the diff then decided to do an engine upgrade, Going to put the diff up for sale and try find a leaf sprung T series diff or even an F as I might go turbo set-up down the track.
  9. Just purchased a 4AGZE for the Red Baron- Stay tuned!
  10. Looks delicious 👌 silver and red are best on ke25's
  11. Nice 26 to start with.. would've loved it if mine was this good.
  12. I had stock Ke30 steelies on the front of the 25 for a while.. fit guards pretty well lol.
  13. Ill let you know how it goes, might be able to get it cheaper if we both get it done at the same time.
  14. So glad I decided to keep this. I'm going to see a diff shop next week, Swapping it to 4 x 114.3 (Think ill do the Ke30 axle swap) but shortening the diff/housing width to accommodate my 14 x 7.5 -+0 wheels. The width will fit in the guard, its just the offset so If the diff is made to suit it will look great with deep offset and unrolled guards! :) Dunno if anyone has any input on that.. I know I'm pissing my money up the wall to a degree but I've always wanted to get it to sit perfect. Also going to lower it 1-2 inches and add another leaf. Here are some dusk shots with the lights on!
  15. Work Meisters are pretty tough though and come in good sizes for these Ie; 17×10 -46 pair that i saw up on boostcruising.
  16. It's an amazing conversation starter. On the way home I stopped in to get fuel and by the time I was out, there where like 6 blokes standing around checking it out. I'm basically going Pepper red paint with Black accents, Good fitment, Been thinking of going Work Meisters in like 15x12 for the rear and 10 for the front but ill work out sizes when the time comes. Probably racing seats and a Nardi. the seats and wheel in it are pretty screwed. Everyones trying to tell me what I should do with it but I'm just going to do what I want! lol
  17. Paid the 'Right' price for it. Yeah I didn't think much of them either and this thing popped up and I couldn't stop drooling just got that patina about it. Not a coded resto, original colour but in 'GT' trim.
  18. Stepping away from the trusty old corollas a bit here and into an Iconic Aussie Muscle car. Shes really dry, a true survivor from country Vic. Great options.. Factory 4 on the floor, Red Pepper, black interior. Getting the full treatment, 351 Crate motor, 9 inch LSD disk rear etc etc etc... here she is These things are BIG can fit 325 wide rubber under standard rear guards :rocknroll: 2 Projects lol

  20. Very nice. Ive always wondered how silver would look on a ke2x.
  21. Yeah I'm making a set at the moment, their going to Perth. I've never seen them on a wagon but here's one on a P/van http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/54896-my-ke26-panno/
  22. Looks like a decent find. I see it has rust in similar places to my Ke26.. Have you seen any windowless Te28's in your travels? I'm starting to think the windowless E2 corollas only were released in Australia
