yeah mate especially if you cut too far and the spring collapses on the cutting disk. Thats why I go 3/4 then hammer it. Its just soooo much quicker but I wouldn't recommend it unless you know how or have someone who knows close by. Anyway its illegal. Why are we talking about it? I didn't do it.... :yes: :D :D

Cut the springs while they are still in there if your just gonna put cut ones in. Cut 3/4 of the way through then hit it with a hammer so it snaps. Then cut the left over bits out. A bit finnicky but took me 5 mins per strut. Just make sure you only cut the one coil. Thats how we do it in the hood bro... :yes:

Yeah mines having problems with the noise echoing inside the boot. Although I do have a dump cannon. And a resonator. Outside the car its fine, but its amplified inside.

Yeah that may help. It sounds good outside though. Ill try pad out my rear seats.

Hey guys. Just got my exhaust done on my ksev and it sounds great. The only issue is I am having a problem with the boot amplifying the exhaust noise inside the car. Would filling the rear backrest with some kind of foam along with covering other solid surfaces inside the boot help? Or a solid piece of mdf between the cabin and boot. Lining the boot with carpet including the boot lid? All of the above? Any ideas would be appreciated as always. Dynamat? Cheers Reed
