where are these? I'll have a look tomorrow, ended up getting new relay and not the problem, unsure about the headlight switch but then park lights probably wouldn't work then or maybe the indicators.
-
Bought a new T18 last night and found out that the headlights don't work, now I tested the relay and is fine, the fuses are fine, the headlight switch I think is fine? as I had another one from my other T18 an it did the same but it was pretty average as it's been sitting around getting thrown around. Wireing appears to be fine, not getting power to fuses or relay so I would think it's the wiring, if anyone has any more ideas help! haha.
EDit, Horn and hazard lights aren't working as well, I hate electrical problems! If anyone wants to swap for a mechanical problem I will certainly do that!, haha.
Another edit: all wiper functions and park lights operate fine.

Manual, runs, bit hard to start but does run, here is link to it http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/61845-1991-ae92-corolla-cheap/page__p__619805#entry619805
$300 is without wheels or $500 with, tyres on those wheels 3 of are stuffed and one wheel needed washers put on to fit as I did have someone interested in the wheels but backed out.

13's are pretty easy to get in aus, just look on mini websites.

must be pretty hot 4age, whats been done to it to get that much power?
-
No I mean lockright mechanical locker diff like people use 4x4's, not a welded diff.
-
The stat warranty should still apply, I would try and tell them it will be cheaper to get a aftermarket one. We had one at work that had a dud ecu saw the cost of a new one from toyota and pretty sure they ended up getting a aftermarket one as they never came back.
-
You can get lokkas for S series.
-
I almost ditched 1uz in t18 and thought about making celsior street track car just take out any luxury's that the driver doesn't get to enjoy like that huge heavy rear seat!
-
Yeah ill be driving the uz72 at matsuri if it's done which it should, haha. Otherwise might make a mad dash and lock and lower the other T18 if it's not done, haha.
-
Yeah I know I would like to get it ready to get one track day in before matsuri as it will be like driving a whole new car with steering rack and completely different braking system with no booster.
Also I just bought another T18 which may be there as well.

Faaarrrr out 4age conversions are expensive!
I've probably spent under 10k including the purchase cost of my T18 with 1uz conversion.
That's the price I ended up paying for the shell minus selling some stuff like the old t series and pedal box and buying the following
1UZFE - FREE! bought a whole celsior for 1k and parted out got money back
gearbox adaper setup - $1100 everything except for box it's self
2X R155 hilux boxes tailshaft and shifter $1100
Rear end
Coilovers - $500
hilux diff cost $400 and I did all the mounts myself
Rear supra brakes cost $300 all up huge things!
$100 for new axle bearings
and just locked diff for now.
Front -
coilovers $600
T3 wilwwod setup - ended up costing $300 because someone wanted JDM 86 brake baaaddd.
hubs and new bearings - $100
rose jointed lcas - $80
kelway steering arms - $200 odd
castor arms - $150
Floor mounted pedal box - $330 delivered
driver sparco and pass bride seats with proper rails $500
Fuel cell - $200
surge tank and 2 pumps - $200
fuel and brake lines where about $100 too.
sheel ended up costing $500 after selling a buch of crap off it.
Thats the majority of it but there would be probably another $1000 in other junk so there's about 8k (around 9 including cams cage which will be done later) for the whole car done but all done myself.
It's close to being done well has to be done for matsuri, haha.
-
No offense but I would rather ʞ©$ɟed or no bumpers than what has been done to those... Although some retard at work painted his bumpers on an old shitbox laser purple on a white car which probably looks worse, haha.
-
Yeah my BC rear springs and shocks you can physically shorten the height of the shocks if you lower the rear end more, works same way as a coilover.
-
As above would need to drive it or pull it apart to see if it's any good.
-
I've got that exact surge tank for mine but I now have a flat floor with a fuel cell, haha.
-
Jack it up and put it on stands? 2 bolts to get tailshaft out of the way, 2 bolts for slave, gearbox xmember bolts then maybe use a jack to support it or just leave one of the bottom box bolts in undo all the rest then pull out the last one which I leave in the easiest spot to get to and just get under the car and pull the box out they're not a heavy box.
-
Haha I had my engine and box out of the T18 in under and hour started just as the love boat started at 10 I think, got it all out and cam up stairs and was still on haha. And that was without any engine crane just jack and stands just took out whole xmember and box as one but I do have an air compressor but sucks working on cement that is like a ditch, ahaha.
Also shouldn't need a jack to pull out a T-50 should be able to just get under the car and pull it out.
-
I am using a straight weight oil in my standard 1uz only because it will only be seeing close to redline the rest of it's life.
-
Could get it out on the ground in a half hour if not quicker pretty easy if you have access to an air compressor and rattle gun makes life so easy, then a hoist makes thing even easier can get 4x4 hilux box out in 15 minutes on a hoist at work, haha.
-
Front hub bearings are cheap and simple to replace.
One of the first jobs I ever did on my car. Don't screw around, just change it.
This exactly, shouldn't take long at all to do them.
-
half hour to pull out the box if you don't muck around.
-
Not sure how long the paint on calipers would last? looks nice and thick though. I never really bothered with painting things like that if I could be bothered a quick lick of black and be done with it, haha.

Had a closer look at wiring on the switch and all looks good, ill check the fusible link tomorrow hopefully thats the problem and then I can go and do some more work on the white T18 and then go have a look at another car later on that might need some work, haha.
