  1. I've got a magmate that they sell at BOC been really good so far had it for nearly 2 years or so, done everything from panel work to welding diff mounts onto my hilux diff all done with gas though which I also think is worth it depending on how much you will use it though otherwise if you don't plan on using it often I might suggest going with the disposable gas bottles.
  2. You can get one that is shorter than 1410 but they are even rarer.
  3. U series is the early corolla? E2x series? And the T is later celica and E7X series which aren't interchangeable.
  4. Some king springs and decent shocks to suit would suffice for your needs, will be a bit stiffer than standard but should ride quite well.
  5. Grab some old timing belt pulleys for any accessory driven items maybe need to buy a crank pulley though.
  6. Yeah wasn't a problem for me haha. I just cut things out of the way to mount it on an angle have to put fans on outside though haha.
  7. Looks good yeah the celica ones are tight.
  8. I got sick of working on my T18 I've been doing for the last year so I bought another lol. Just to do up as a beater drift car, but I've got my 80 series daily to drive around and my bike as well haha.
  9. Yeah I still think the laws aren't that fair, I don't have a street registered car anymore, well might do now soonish ;) The main thing is they leave it up to the officer to decide what they class as excess noise or if you spun the wheels at the lights on purpose or not when it was raining. I got told if you ever are planning on doing stupid driving on the street dress half decent, have the car looking respectable and then when you get pulled over for suspicion they won't think so much it was you? haha
  10. Me and Phil (ninjaketo?) lifted a 3t into his rolla definantly don't want to do that again ,ahaha
  11. Got my 3T box and all front suspension and everything out in just under an hour at home by myself, no engine crane balanced it on a jack onto a skate board got a piece of wood and lifted the front of the car up high enough and rolled it all out, but that was working super quick haha. So could do it in 2 hours pretty easy just cruising along. Also this was when I was motivated to work on my shitbox.
  12. Rav 4 has like 1.5 or 1.6T braked towing capacity so enough fro a good car trailer and a corolla. Higher capacity than what my hiace was as well.
  13. Sounds pretty good then. One thing there was one at lakeside at a sprint day with coilovers and semi's and there was an excel doing quicker laps, haha. But some of those excels are crazy, well drivers are, haha.
  14. Look on yahoo japan, google Jesse Streeter message him the link and will be cheaper than buying from JDM wheels.
  15. Not hard to make some up from original rails if you're handy with a mig. What are the rails from? What seat is going in?
  16. That was the other thing I forgot about acrylic.
  17. I was thinking acrylic windows for the T18. Easy to cut, cheap and work alright but heard that you're not aloud to use them in motorsport, my car is track only so doesn't need to be reoed.
  18. I'm yet to make the brake lines for my T18, I have to re do all the hard lines because all the master cylinders are now inside the car instead of on the firewall as they are normally.
  19. No where I would think would sell specific ones for a KE55, but probably get some universal ones close to fitting, fronts are easy rears not as much.
  20. Should just be able to check voltage straight from the back of the alternator when running. But yeah need a multimeter, haha. Supercheap ones are ok and seem to work fine.
  21. Sounds interesting, should just go with a yamaha R1 engine would be fun and just call it a toyota engine.
  22. Could probably put a 20V in or build a 7AGE. There were diesel engines available but probably slower than the engine in it.
  23. You could fit the diff from the celica if the width is within reasonable size compared to std one just weld the leaf mounts on.
  24. From AE86 DC? I thought it was going to one of my mates place in Lismore then Matt from AE86DC was going to pick it up.
