  1. My T18 with rear half from front seats back stripped sound deadening with me in the car and 1/2 tank of fuel weighed about 950KG, I don't know what it'll weigh now with 1uz, bigger box, bigger diff, bigger brakes, bigger wheels, but no dash, no heavy steering box anymore no sound deadening at all.
  2. Headers just fit on pass side drivers needed cutting up and reroute the outlet look rough but will do the job. I do want to sell the fins as I want to get a set of superlites they make them in 15x8 and in 5 stud so I'll have matching wheels all round for circuit days at lakeside or QR.
  3. Shit this has been a while, haha. Done a bit, but not much in the last week because I bought a new bike, had to go do Q ride to get R license and then put a temp gauge and tacho on bike because it had none. Here are some pictures because I couldn't be bothered typing everything I've done, haha There are more but couldn't be bothered uploading them, haha. Here's one of my new toy :)
  4. Hilux drums are huge, and for such a light car?
  5. Probably too dear to send to the states. $1800 sounds pretty good for a full cage.
  6. ae101 has ITB's, do don't need to cut and shut manifold, but is the more expensive way of going 4age, if you want an engine upgrade tell us how much money you have to spend? You should allow around 5K to do the engine swap if you can do it yourself. Some people have done it cheaper, others have cost more so don't bother telling me you got an engine for 1k and that was all you had to buy. Then allow another about another 2-3k for suspension and brake upgrades.
  7. Bond cages can send it to you as well, but there should be someone who can make one to suit your car locally to your area, probably won't be cheap though so don't expect it to be.
  8. Wow! watch out it might not like the sun after being stored for ages! Good to see its out and about though, whats getting done?
  9. I'm selling a hilux diff to suit ke70, which would match the 5 stud pattern on the front of your car.
  10. Yep! I'd say its just as strong holding things as sikaflex probably stronger, I ran out of seam sealer and had a couple of spare tubes of sealant and used them, haha. Worked well!
  11. Not alot I sold a engine with 130xxxkms, box, both crossmembers near new starter, and everything else to get it running for $300...
  12. Only 11k revs! what, I thought you would go find one from a CBR250RRand rev it out to 20k.
  13. Yeah I would just drill holes in the right spot fit the outer trim bit to the light and put a dab of grease on the end of the studs on the lights and line them up might line up with a hole and just drill where the grease mark is.
  14. Ah ok, forgot what you said. I'll bring it to them when it's done then, thanks.
  15. Why not just buy an adapter cheap enough.
  16. Where did you get your diff housing straitened? I've got another hilux diff to do, do they need anything other than the diff housing?
  17. Just drill holes and bolt shit up, I don't know if that will actually work but sounds like the way I would do it.
  18. Put an SR20 in if you have a spare 10k lying around and can do everything to the car yourself. Otherwise put a 5k in.
  19. I was out your way today if I had of seen this before I could have brought some toyota black sealant, that stuff works wonders, haha.
  20. 9.5" would be plenty. Flywheel shouldn't cost too much although a one off, maybe get a couple if you can offload them, or do you want to be the only one with a RWD 2az haha.
  21. Go to a toyota dealer they will be able to tell you for sure if aus delivered stuff will fit, otherwise as said get the wheel cylinder repaired and you could just remove the brake shoes and give them a very good clean with brake cleaner... Not the safest option but will get you driving again. And wouldn't be hard to fit Australian stuff, should just be a case of unbolt old stuff and put new on.
  22. I would be inclined to think they would all be the same as the australian models, you will need a new wheel cylinder, brake shoes and maybe a new drum if you want to replace that as well at the time, the shoes will be covered in brake fluid which is the reason for replacing them.
  23. The engine will with an ae71 xmember, the rear shocks are a good upgrade for ae86 front struts. I think that's about it.
