  1. Shouldn't be hard as above though if you know what you're doing, should be easy to fit. There is someone one here that makes mounts to bolt 4age into a ke20 as well so it is simply a bolt in wire in and the rest of usual engine conversion hassles.
  2. I would rather 350 over 304, Dout you'll find any videos on shortening a diff, a fair bit of work in it. I just used a hilux diff in my T18. And a 1uzfe isn't much bigger than a 308.
  3. Thats what those balljoint adapter things are for.
  4. No I was referring to you saying they weigh the same as a twin turbo sr20? Why would anyone run a twin turbo sr20? And I said to try a LS1 as they are lighter, I am putting 1uz into my T18 at the moment and the new engine isn't much heavier than the std engine.
  5. Just go on yahoo japan or us sites or NZ and look for TE27 steering arms, allows you to run ae86 coilovers therefore any brake kits that fit ae86. I think hopper stoppers kit could probably make one up for you for about the same price as normal if you ask them to do one for your car.
  6. You don't seem to know much, no offense... Why would you run 2 turbos on a SR20? Just go a LS1 probably a bit less power but lighter, if you don't know how to even make up some mounts I wouldn't really bother as you will just be wasting your time and money and later on there will be a half finished 350 chev ke30 project for sale on here.
  7. I know of a J160 with 4age bellhouseing that may still be for sale.
  8. Just go side pipe, I am with my 1uz for QR at Ipswich track days, and have another for other track days at lakeside or others.
  9. Yeah I have had no problem with Gordon but anything I've bought I went to pick up, he helped me out with specs for my 3t so I haven't had any bad experiences with him but other have apparently.
  10. If it uses dot 4 you can only use that but if it uses dot 3 you can use dot 4 as well. Brake problems are pretty easy really not much to them at all, if you have an old master cylinder only do half pumps of the pedal takes a bit longer but because the piston wouldn't have traveled all the way being old it's not good to pump the pedal all the way to the floor, if you're still getting problems just get a new master cylinder not expensive for the piece of mind you get knowing you now have a new one, just bench bleed it before putting it in and be done with it. And if you don't know what to do or don't understand something fully go take it somewhere to get it done, don't just try and then find out that you got it wrong when you run up someones ass or try to emergency stop from hitting someone and hurt or kill them, not saying you don't understand but some people don't and then find out at the worst time. It's people like that who should make you need a license to buy car parts, haha.
  11. Need a bit more info, what do you mean bolt on accessories? Its a 350 chev just go ask most performance shops or look online there are heaps of cheap high HP crate engines from the states.
  12. No bolt in parts would be available, everything would need to be custom.
  13. Anyone else had bad luck with crow cams? My mate builds mild 308 race engines for some older commodores and has had 2 failures due to the cam both which were crow cams.
  14. Sounds like it will go quite well! Still a bit to put together though?
  15. 195/55 do exsist and aren't that badly priced I think I got quoted $120ea for federal RSRs I also got a good pair of yokohamas off ebay for $150 delivered! New!
  16. Looks like alot of fun! There is a guy here in Brissy that has alot of celica parts, celica spares I think? Some people have had bad dealings with him I haven't but he sells alot of his stuff on gumtree.
  17. Not a huge fan of rotas myself but as above, any wheel can break, I have even seen a well known Japanese brand 3 piece wheel break similar to that before as well. I have even heard of rota not even asking questions about a broken wheel and just straight up replace them without any questions.
  18. I wouldn't really bother if the engine is otherwise standard.
  19. Yeah QLD laws aren't that great, matter of the fact is they're all pretty ʞ©$ɟed. Especially all this new bullshit in QLD about getting an exemption for driving some turbo and supercharged cars.
  20. I put them in mine too, couldn't get cambertops for T18 as different to 86 and ke70. I have a shitjob as well just not the mortgage, haha. Hopefully once I get a better job and save enough I will but probably not for a while though.
  21. only cost me about $800 for hilux diff conversion including ma70 supra rear brakes. Then probably only another 400 for tailshaft.
  22. Fair enough, sick of your old wheels already?
