  1. Ah ok, might just go front guards on rears then.
  2. Yeah I knew that was just wondereing what size you can fit under those guards. I have some fiberglass flares but they will probably just fall to bits as soon as I eventually pop a tyre and I want to run 15x10s with 0 offset.
  3. I have a friend with a twin turbo RB20, just uses the rb26 (I think) std twin turbos and makes about 300whp
  4. What size are those rear wheels/tyre size?
  5. Corona wing?
  6. Probably not too many on import sites I think they came out in a liteace van?
  7. I am on my red P Plates in NSW am I restricted to conveting the engine? Probably yes but 5k looks the same as what your 4k did so wouldn't be obvious. Is the engine hard to convert regarding mounts, diffs, gearbox ect...? All a bolt in conversion if you went for a 7k however I belive the sump requires modding, but if you keep it simple with a 5k its all bolt in. What 5speed gearbox options do i have? Your 4 speed will bolt up and then any 5 speed for a k series engine will bolt on. and any other tips and ideas you could give me? Just take your time and do everything properly then maybe think about suspension upgrades.
  8. If you just use a T18 rotor on your standard hubs (which I would think should work) and then just make the T18 caliper fit your caliper brackets which I read someone only needed a little modding to fit to a ke70 so might be a similar case here, or even try and see if you could fit your hubs on T18 struts? Although I don't think that would work but no harm trying.
  9. Actually! I might think about running side pipe on either side of the car, haha. One for each bank.
  10. I'd still rather not, you have to see the amount of damage it does to cars the are just racing and then run into a wall let alone if you spin out and hit something...
  11. Nah lakeside doesn't do drift days, too much to hit there not like QR when you just go off track at lakeside you've got steel barriers everywhere to hit.
  12. If you want to still race at lakeside the noise meters are on the left hand side of the track so just put pipe out the right hand side :) haha. Unsure if they do hand held checks there though.
  13. Those wheels should fit very well I would think and look very nice! I am just a bit concerned about the tyre size, haha. Especially considering they are skinner than the original tyre size, haha.
  14. You may be able to find a wiring diagram online but there are no paper covers for new car repair manuals its all online now (need a password to acess them), and I don't think there is really any way that you can fix it even for now as it would require you to pull the stalk out and change contacts. I would just deal with it for the time being.
  15. 12 slotters? but in 4 stud?
  16. Yeah we've had a fair few come in.
  17. 2007 was the break point I think they were just getting rid of the old ones and then got this shape. http://www.google.com.au/imgres?q=2007+corolla+australia&hl=en&gbv=2&biw=1440&bih=645&tbm=isch&tbnid=2ccprkmXvUkFtM:&imgrefurl=http://www.toyota.com.au/corolla/discover/10th-generation&docid=xA8iF1Sbt2kE6M&imgurl=http://www.toyota.com.au/static/images/1625u-toyota-corolla-discover-10th-generation-940x529.jpg&w=940&h=529&ei=5rHVT9mZCaaiiAf-itGoAw&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=562&vpy=165&dur=2483&hovh=168&hovw=299&tx=93&ty=124&sig=103514156560722364581&page=1&tbnh=105&tbnw=187&start=0&ndsp=18&ved=1t:429,r:2,s:0,i:76 If you bring it into a dealer if it is that shape they should be able to fix it with out of warranty assistance as it has been found to be a common problem.
  18. If this is a new shape corolla they have a common fault in the dimmer switch stalk, can get it replaced under out of warranty assistance.
  19. ah yeah, well saab 15" steel wheels should fit otherwise look on yahoo japan for 4x110 otherwise shorten some ke30 axles and get ke30 front hubs and will fit way more wheels.
  20. SSR's aren't as exxy as people make them out to be I got my 13x8 MK2's for $800 and then was another $300 for a set of decent street tyres. Otherwise these are a popular choice and fit most corollas I think. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/60816-ma61-wheels/
  21. Could be that as well, could be something completely different though, haha. But usually the above.
  22. You can get DX front to bolt onto std flat front guards or panel van front as well will fit. If you've got a pair of T18 guards ill buy them if you want.
  23. Ive got 2 welded diffs, one in the car and one spare that I locked last night at work as a spare. Once they break or I find a cheap LSD I will be buying that :) If its for a KE25 it may not be much work to put in a Celica diff which has bolt in LSD options. (Am just unsure width of ke25 diff and celica is I think about 1360mm and no idea of ke25, oh thats TA22 diff as well.
  24. Not related to cars at all but I would every now and then put regular 91 in my motorbike as it would start easier as the 91 burns quicker than 98.
  25. You will need tie rod ends from a earlier corolla, which also means trying to find unbent tie rod end tubes as well. Otherwise AJPS sells the ones you need about $180 though.
