  1. I would think that a corolla liftback you are talking about is the same as a T18 over here? Like the one pictured? If you get desperate I have the fuel tank and everything out of my car. No idea how much it would cost to send though.
  2. Yeah those black wired systems are easy enough to get in so unless you redo your entire loom you can still rewire them to start the car, the ls400 I bought had one and I ripped it out because i was driving it short distances through the workshop and it kept locking the doors and that was on a modern car. Also started the T18 with a wire once :)
  3. Looks good! Needs less 4x4 height! haha.
  4. Far from bolt on! You could probably name nearly any other toyota and it would be a closer fit haha.
  5. Mine should be only 10k all up for it including the 1uz conversion, thats full race trim, full cage everything.
  6. Any car can handle well, but it all depends on the driver really. I can drive a 2.4L 04 camry reasonably quick over the mountains around here.
  7. WOW! I did think about this for a while but couldn't find any engines cheap! Well or as cheap as what I got mine for anyway. Very nice! Also where are you located? Would like to see this thing out on the track!
  8. I could slide my T18 with the 3t, factory 70-80hp, don't need big power to slide well just big balls haha. And I am selling my whole conversion from my T18 for $450 (if he was local) go 2TG something different and still cheap!
  9. Really a rav? although there was one that came in apparently making 300kw with the v6 just with a tune and running on LPG!
  10. Wow thats pretty expensive ive seen ones with cheaper postage, just fine some 2nd hand ones I got mine for like $60.
  11. 4age is not really a big upgrade they are a good engine though! but will be cheaper to buy one done, my mate bought a ke70 with a 20v in it for 2.5k! all done!
  12. From what I found on google - 13x4.5" with a offset of +32mm. Which sounds a bit too much pos offset but no idea and you will not be able to fit many wheels that will keep within that size and offset.
  13. How would this go in an early corolla? http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.329203887119473.79025.118825541490643&type=1
  14. Most large tyre shops that sell wheels and other stuff should have lock nuts, we had a van at work that had them on and the owner didn't even know haha so we took it to jax quickfit think and they had one there to fit.
  15. Well lets see so far what ive sold from the T18 the shell would have cost me $1000 (very good shell for the age) Suspension and brakes would have cost about 3k (all suspension inc swaybars ect) wheels about $800 Engine (1UZFE V8) was FREE! but only because I bought a whole car and parted it out took alot of time to end up getting the engine for free Gearbox setup will end up being about 2.5K (this engine never came out manual and requires custom parts) Bigger diff $500 Paint and panel work - $200 Miscellaneous - 1k So that is a basic rundown of what it has cost me so far and that probably not all of it but already up to about 10K and that is only because every single thing I have done and can do myself, so if you need to get something welded it will cost even more, cars are not a cheap hobby. I would recommend buying one that has a 4age in it or something can pick them up pretty cheap, because that rust looks pretty bad unless you got the car for free?
  16. Only ever heard of 195/45 13s used on minis or something. 185.60s would grip well and cab get decent brands.
  17. just go 155/65 13 pretty cheap and will stretch if you are after that look. I had 185/60 on a 13x8 was good.
  18. Could be a T50 from a celica or T18 I know they had different spines from 86 and ae71 but can't remember which one had what number of spines.
  19. I'm sure anything is for sale for a price :)
  20. Depends mate, would probably go a 195/50 R15 as they are a common and cheap tyre. I think Mungi mods (Terry) should have some 15x7s not sure I know he should have at least 1 pair.
  21. What size tyre is that? and did someone puncture your tyre?!
  22. anything about 7" wide and around 0 offset, with 195 or 85 tyres should fit great! Most people will say to get 14's but get whatever size you want, I ran 13's because I liked them, not saying what size to get but anything over 15" starts too look a bit funny but and have only seen 1 or 2 corollas that looked really good with bigger than 15" wheels.
  23. I also would go around 3k, I got my T18 with 8 months rego left on it reasonably good paint job for 2k.
  24. Like said people have no courtesy, I wouldn't worry about it unless it had anything to do with an insurance claim.
  25. I use toyota genuine oil in my 3T, because - its free :) Pretty sure its just caltex I think.
