  1. I'm thinking of selling my swift to upgrade to something bigger, the car is in pretty good condition apart from a few paint defects/ small dents, It is a 95 model Suzuki Swift GTi with A/C, Electric windows, No power steering The car only weighs 850Kgs Powered by a very responsive 1.3 litre G13B all alloy twin cam motor, puts commanwhores to shame 189,xxx kms new front tyres near new brake pads Fully reconditioned cylinder head 9 months ago including new camshafts also replaced timing belt, timing belt tensioner and waterpump Comes with DVD player and sub and amp New brake fluid, spark plugs, and oil and filter was changed about a month ago, semi synthetic 10w30 oil used Always ran on bp 95 or 98 as it tends to ping on 91 tinted windows CUP HOLDERS!!! CV shafts are on there way out but will also replace before sale Has a few other minor problems but will inform you of them at closer inspection I've only owned the car for 9 months and have done nearly 20,000 kms in it. This has been a fantastic little car, Good for a daily and even better for the weekends. I'm not going to lie and say it hasn't been thrashed because it has but it just keeps on going, very cheap to run and very fun. The car has quite a few modifications Including; Extractors The standard ecu has been chipped to allow the car to rev over 8500rpm Full 2 3/4 inch sports exhaust and a magnaflow muffler with twin polished tips sounds like sex Has been professionally lowered with pedders low springs and short stroke shocks handles amazing Full leather interior, Drivers seat has a rip in it but will get repaired before sale, very comfortable and supportive front seats 16X7 max alloy wheels Momo steering wheel and gear knob K&N high flow air filter SR20 throttle body Fuel pressure regulator Apexi AFC NEO 2 hand controller worth nearly $800 and much more I'm asking $4500 slightly negotiable

  3. Sorry for asking a noob question, But where is the oil pump on a 4k?

  5. we've had heaps of hilux recalls for the bonnet latch breaking and the bonnet flying up
  6. today i went to u pull it and i was planning to just have a little nosey around see whats there and as usaul i tell mum I'm not bringing anything home because the shed is starting to look like u-pull-it but i couldnt pass an opportunity i left with alot more than what i went in with including a AE71 x-member and a t-50 all for under $200 so i was overwealmed. just a random question too, can you use the stock ke70 tailshaft for a 16 or 20v, or what are some preferences from people that have done the conversion, also did a little backyard mechanics and made my own tacho dash using the tacho from a te72 i swapped the dial around and it went straight into where the clock sits on the standard dash and just wired it up looks dodgy though haha
  7. can a 4age 16/20v bolt straight up to the standard 4af gearbox if so how much work is involved?
  8. yeh theres some funny looks from people who walk or drive past with four ke70s on the lawn, my brother refers to it as u-pull-it
  9. and while we where working on it all the mates over corollafest
  10. well not long after the damage pics were taken i sourced a complete front end and got her back on the road but she was never the same and one after the other problems started occuring, electrical problems draining the battery, blew head gasket, defected for oil leaks in the engine bay and a tyre under the wear bar,the exhaust split, the shockers shat it, springs through the asses of passengers in the back seat and all this started to cost me too much money and so when she finally went boom i decided its time for a ground up rebuild. i have plans for a mild 16v or 20v just a neat daily/cruise car i don't want to build a fully sick drift car i just want something neat and reliable but still stand out from the crowd. plans for some super light rims 14x10 rear and 14x8 front which means some flared guards and fiberglass bolt on fares, flat front coversiom with chrome bumpers, hilux lsd, lots of shiney chrome and fender mirrors, I'm going red and white theme for the exterior and paint and is going to be pearl white with red pin stripes and red walls on tyres, red on black for the interior with bucket seats front and back, sorry to say but I'm not big on sound systems so just a simple headunit and 6x9s and ill be happy. putting the new front guards on was quite a challange as most of the screw holes didnt line up because of the accident damage, but i managed thanks to help of my mates who also own ke70s shes now basically a rolling shell in the shed and I'm currently fixing up little dings and cutting rust out and removing bog from the previous owner, progress pics below...
