Got some other pics of it :yes: Inlcuding the interior.. after i gave it a nice clean then theres the engine bay, i tidy'd it a little bit still could come up much better and then one of in the gaurds lol, re sprayed all of the wheel arches etc makes everything look much neater Nah i didnt get Pete to do the roadworthy. Everything was done in Thomastown. I've had some other cars that have been a bit of a pain.. nothing like this tho. But in the end its worth it :) Thanks Scott :yes: Cheers

Cheers haha, I'm starting to enjoy it now getting out in the sun. Thanks :) I've spent the last 2 or so weeks since its been on the road neatening it all up.. and i think now its starting to look much better just needs to be a little lower :)

Yes i'm very happy to finally have it all on the road etc now, it was the waiting and trying to source all the parts needed that made the whole thing anoying but now that it's all done it's much better.. just would like to get it lowerd again. In regards to the bushes, most of my family are engineers so i had the machining done in their factory which was good. I think getting copies of the bushes is a good idea you will probobly need them some time down the track and if not I'm sure there would be alot of people that would be willing to buy some seeing as you can't find them anywhere. We were going to do it when mine we're getting done but because i wanted them back in the car i decided not to worry about it.

Well.... Finally some good news today :) Car is now rego'd and on the road again, its so good after the massive wait. Only bad thing is i couldnt keep the old RAX395 plates and its like a 4wd at the moment. Will get some pics up soon

I can't wait for the re-run of this.. seeing as i missed the first. Hoping my car will be all ready by then :)

Well even more bad news with the car.. Organised a windscreen to be done first thing this morning thru RACV and then we get a phone call late afternoon from them saying to us that they can't do it anymore because they can't get the glass :) So now after organising with another place the windscreen will be getting fitted tomorrow afternoon i am hoping!!!!!!!! :y: :y: :n: :n:

Yes that is true the car will be heaps better to drive now.. seeing as half the stuff was totally nackerd haha :) The wait is the worst thing though but will be good when i get it back, nice weather to cruise.

Well its been a while since ive posted anything because i havnt had the car.. and i still don't have it but I'm hopeing to have it soon. The wednesday after i got it, it went into the shop to get raised for the road worthy and after looking at the car we soon relised it needs more then ball joints and head lining attended to which was stated in the add, ;) (which i was not happy about) but i decided okay ill get the parts for it and just replace it i have no other options and the next task of finding the parts was a HUGE pain but after a bit of a wait and several trips over to Peter Robinson at Oakleigh we finally got the parts we needed... So the car was put back together the end of last week and actually had the road worthy done on it today, which it didnt pass because it needs a new front windscreen :@ but i have just organised that for tomorrow morning so hopefully it will be all road worthy and ready for rego tomorrow afternoon sometime, which ill then have to book in and wait to get that done :( So it turns out after all it wasnt the cheap cruiser to run around in that i thought it was going to be. And now after replaceing - Front Brake Pads - L/H Front Rotor - Wheel Bearings - All The Front End Bushes (Which Had To Be Custom Made) - Shockers - Front Brake Lines - Front Springs & The Metal Seat For The Spring - can't Think Of The Other Things..... - Front Windscreen Tomorrow Morning Hopefully And spending more and more money it finally seems like it will be soon rego'd and ready to drive which i am very happy about lol after the past few weeks :yes:((((((((((((((((

Thanks guys :jamie: I'm after, 1. Spring Eye Bushes. 2. Front Inner Control Pivot Bushes. 3. L/H Lower Control Arm. Havnt had much luck finding the stuff.. we found a few places that we can get eye bushes thru but nothing for the other 2. Would be easier if we could put in ke20 control arm with ke20 bushes, as ke20 parts are more available.. does anyone know if this would work or if theres another way around this?? Cheers, Kyle

Thanks :cool: i thought it was a cool little cruiser. At the moment, we're just trying to get it to pass road worthy.. having trouble finding some parts. It would be good to chuck a 4age in it.. but at the moment just cleaning it up. Hahah, ill be looking after it don't worry. The plan is at the moment just clean it rite up and drive around cheaply and in somthing unique.. Beats borrowing mums car. I just needa wait till i get it back from the shop. Yeh well that was the plan, and still is the plan.. i just thought why wait for my car and have to worry about borrowing a car when i can just buy a cheap little one that cost hardly anything to run.. and plus its somthing different from a holden or ford which every other p plater drives.
