As I am a tightarse I shall be fabbing my own up with the help of sponsor. I will be interested to see see how Fook's works. I like the idea of the Pro handbrake in that it pulls toward you but I may have to think laterally to fit it into the small confines of the Datsun. The club style setup maybe more practical. Any of you had any experience with the pull style? Craig

There is an autocross on the 22/08 at the IWMAC course. Who's up for it? I have just been informed I shall be getting the Hornet back in time. Yay!! First run with the suspension setup properly. :dance: Craig

You kiddies are sooo lucky you get to do motorkhana. I was extremely excited to hear about it but the sponsor is waaaay too busy to get my car ready on time. :dance: I was thinking about coming down but am helping my nav fix his celica so he can sell it and buy a real competition car. Keep your eyes and ears open for something around 5g or less. As for the Queensland Challenge the car was riding rather high at the back end due to the fact that I didn't get time to finish it. I blew 2 head gaskets in the week leading up to the event and thus spent my (and Harry's) time fixing them. By the time it was fixed there was no way that Fulcrum would be able to get everything done by the next day Got a quick wheel alignment at a local tyre shop and away I went. Damn it was hard keeping the car in a straight line. Very twitchy to drive and tendancy to understeer into corners. My nav was laughing at the amount of wheel work I had to do throughout the day. There is much setting up to be done. Hopefully it will be setup by next week. Might even be able to compete in the hillclimb in early September. Craig

Yeah Mel I get around a bit. Marc said you were having fun organising interclub teams. I am hanging to drive my new beastie. I have 9 days until scrutineering and it is still being tuned and then it needs some more suspension fine tuning. That will leave me probably just under a week to get it up to scratch for scrutineering and get some serious seat time in it. Doh! Hope my nav is up to scratch. Craig
