  1. Hey if your having trouble with low driveways I do airbag installs now. Nothing like hittin' switches. Hahahaha.
  2. You funny farker Fook.
  3. I wholeheartedly agree Tiger. Unfortunately there is a fine line between moderating and subdueing freedom pf speech. Just be careful that's all. Craig
  4. Ruts - Nah that never came through. Either way I'm not fussed. I was only having a bit of fun with Nick. *Note - Personal Opinion Inbound* Either way you mods need to lighten up. I understand why you are cracking down. You don't want the board to turn into a boostcruising or toymods type thing but if you keep going the way you are it will become a communist board. I come on here 'coz there is a lot of info on old corollas and I have met some of you at Fook's place and you were good guys. My advice, don't take life too serious. You are only going to die at the end of it. Have little fun. Craig
  5. I didn't get a PM for my warning. I feel ripped off.
  6. 'People shouldn't be afraid of their government. Government should be afraid of their people.'
  7. Nice work man.
  8. Yeah it was fun. I had to drive home to get a lift home to get my tools though so I could get the splash guard off.
  9. So here's my tip for the day. Always use spring washers when your bolting your alternator bracket back in. That way the mount doesn't fall off for the next person who buys your car. My tip when this happens. Use coat hanger wire to put your bracket back on and you'll make it home.....a little squealing form the fan belt here and there mind you. Grrr!
  10. Ohh....those were the days. STd engines and dirt tracks. Sooo much fun.
  11. THAT IS FOOK'S OLD ROLLA. Holy cow. Of all the ebays and forums on the net. Small world.
  12. Drive it like I stole it.
  13. It's not too hard to make the short shifter if you are handy with a welder. I made one for my last T50box. You can then decide how much reduction in throw you want rather than what you can uy. Craig
  14. Bedside table. It's his whacking stick for when things get out of hand. Who needs a 2 x 4!! ps- Did you do all the cross drilling too?
  15. Went to log on this morning and it's been owned by some cheeky bastard. The cheek of it.
  16. Ahh Takumi Tax......I hate the bloody stuff. Now I have to build other cars 'coz I won't fork out the tax!!!
  17. Shuddup. You all suck. :P
  18. Hahah funny as. I infected more than just Jamie then.
  19. Well I know I said to myself and everyone else I wouldn't touch this one but how can you not???? It's begging for the Craig touch. Big front brakes, bigger drums and a 5speed at least. I'v done a little bit of research today. R31 struts should almost be a bolt in affair. (Haha. Bolt in. Who am I kidding??) The bolt spacing for the steering arm is 80mm just like the ke20 and the strut height is only 20mm longer than a ke20. Probably end up with a little bit of increased track. I am just waiting to find out what the ID of the r31 spring is so I can work out whether or not I need to convert them to coilovers. That's it for now apart from giving it a wash sometime when I get a chance.
  20. That's where I got it from. I am part of Subsided. As for the wheels I am not a huge fan of them. Got underneath it today and had a look around. Usual oil leaks for a car of this age. The wheels have dirty great spacers that also change the stud pattern. Currently looking into putting r31 skyline struts into it so I can get the big brakes and change the stud pattern. Waiting to hear back from a friend about the inner spring diameter. This will decide whether I need to go to coilovers or not.
  21. It's got a weber. Good enough for me.
  22. Thanks guys. It's a 74 apparently. The photos make it look clean as but once you get closer it shows its age. Still a top buy from a mad scramble. I am lovin' driving old skool again. No crazy engine conversions for a while as it will be my daily driver. I need reliability. It has a 3k with weber and a 2inch exhaust. Ohhhh soo much fun. I feel so at home.
  23. The 4runner died yesterday so in a mad scramble to find some wheels to get to work a mate of mine came up with this little gem that he said he would sell to me as he didn't drive it anymore. It's quite fun to be driving something like this again.
  24. Not a bad option there from rolla boy however the clear winner is buy a 5th nag. Hit up the wreckers and see what you can scrounge.
