I'm just thinkin if i get a turbo that spools up later it might save my chassis for a bit longer with launches not sayin ill be dragin every single light thats just stupid and ill be able to make my desired power with out putting the motor under constant stress as i want it to be reliable. thats why I'm hoping the 3sge still has a reasonable bottom end power curve till turbo can kick in 3 - 4k just tell me anyone to put a sock in it if I'm talkin absolute crazy talk

Hey all just curious I'm looking at putting a 3sge into my ta22 and adding a turbo my q is has anyone used a 3sge with a large turbo, i know lag will be an issue but will the 3sge still have reasonable pick up till the turbo spools up or should i just get a turbo that spools up straight away, I'm looking around the 225 - 200rwkw mark so if i have a turbo that only spools up later it will be a bit better to handle with every day conditions right?. and i don't want to be running crazy amounts of boost too as it will be a daily. any ideas, suggestions etc will be awesome matt

did bit more work on voodoo ta22 interior took a wire wheel on a drill bit to the interior came up a treat works killer, once don't that can finish of welding the seams then get to start drivers side once done all that give her a lick of por 15 rust protecter and coat of black paint (maybe) then wack on some dyna mat sound deadner and interior mostly done then finish off the boot with same deal. then just finish sanding all door jams, fix some more rust and then ill give underneath the wire brush treatment but with a grinder, give it some por 15 rust kill/protectant and then a black sealer. mmmm shiny more updates tomorrow probably.

cheers for that much appreciated yeah thats what i was thinking too, maybe a nice warm 5k coz they can get up and go and i don't really want it to become my main worked car thats what the celicas for. the only exterior things i will prob end up doing will just get some wider 14" stockies just subtle things for when i do give it a bit more go its useable

oh and just throwin up some ideas for people should i keep the ksev nana spec on the out side, but have it a sleeper, 4agte, or 13t-te, coilys etc make it a killer hills run car. or go jdm or in between nana spec with bit of jdm flavour open to annny suggestions no matter what unless their homosexually flavoured

took a photo of the rolla interior too, the passenger seat had no rips but because my smart :happy: dad put our husky on the seat its been ripped to f@$k not happy jan as in the previous post ive started removing all the sound deadner and and started seam welding the body. ive taken a wire wheel to the interior works a treat if ya don't need to worry bout paint maybe a lil ruff but it will have por15 over it and then dyna mat, and it removes any surface rust and some pretty bad rust too. ive had to repair 2 rust holes in the floor pan on the passenger side, lucky my parts celica these spots weren't destroyed so i just used those meaning less time fiddling with shaping few more photos, below want it on the road asap lol or at least nearly ready for paint by my 19th :yes: rolla keepin an eye on things make sure its brothers gettin looked after bit of buffing and the doner will be right as rain bitta seam welding before i started inner left front wheel arch, left side where the chassis rail was messy inner rust replacement patch almost factory lol bit yucky to the eyes bit more seam welding will get a few more pics up soon enjoy

hey mate just a few questions if ya might be able to help me are there any differences between the 1UZ and 4V? or are they basically the same? coz I'm looking at putting in a 1UZ in my TA22 but if the 4V is lighter or easier to get after market parts etc might go with the 4v just hoping to get some input from you end any would be awesome cheers matt and just on the quad throttle bodies i read above heres a orgazmic video clip of quads on a 1UZ

that will look tuff as, have ya got any rough date ya want it finished? or just it gets done when it gets done
