bernieboy Posted November 6, 2006 Report Share Posted November 6, 2006 I just did a little research & found this on http://www.xs4all.nl/~mjs/corollastory.html: 'August 1971 saw the introduction of the Toyota Sprinter 4-door Sedan, which had different rear roof end styling and was sold in Japan through the 'Toyota Auto' dealer outlet.' Could this be the car? The 'S' badge on the grille seems to point that way. The rear quarter vents are similar to the KE25/TE27s. I'm hoping it is this car. Nice find. Sorry, I don't have a side on picture of one of these. The hip line and window line are very similar, its a shame the Corolla didnt come with a six! AFAIK only *e25,27 had the rear quarter vent like that. and I've never seen taillights like that before.
