I went to a couple of places to check things out and I started by qualifying my ride, ie: "Hi, I own a factory turbo and intercooled Corolla Sportivo" and I'm after ..... TWO of the places I went into, (Car Toys and Motoquip in Mile End) the guys said to me "are you sure?" me: "yes" them: are you sure it wasn't done aftermarket? me: *rolls eyes* YES!!!! what IS IT with people???? Des Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 You mention any car that seems a little different to autobahn and they look at you stupid and claim your car doesnt need the part your after. Went into autobahn "Do you have any small front mounts to suit a 4AGZE or something similar" and they reckon they don't have intercoolers standard and hence you can't put one on. Just walk away like you were'nt even there and nobody gets wacked. Quote

My mate wanted them to order in a "ghostrider" video and they said they couldn't simply because they didn't like it, saying the rider in the video is "irresponsible". Quote

Trev Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 (edited) Woot how much do they cost ? :P Dunno, Me and my mate used to work there (he now works at autopro) and he rang there one day to prove to another person how stupid some of the new staff are so he rang up and asked for a cam for a 13b, he was quoted that they require 2 of them and he gave him some other info and i think he said he had some in stock, Not sure if the sales guy was just been stupid or he was stupid as i had someone ring me 1 day and ask if i had any flux capacitors and i said that id just go check to see if we still have any, I came back and said yeah mate i still have a few on the shelf.
