99 Posted September 19, 2004 Report Posted September 19, 2004 Wow, that is a BIG bargain. I love bargains like that, if only 1600s came in bargains. Too many people love them though I think!! But I must say I have always had a soft spot for those Celicas. Don't like the later models, just that one. Now, have you got a name for her yet? dg Quote
irokin Posted September 19, 2004 Author Report Posted September 19, 2004 She cost $600 so I guess 02Rolla was closest. Interiors stripped, rust/bog has been cut out just need to try and match the paint and patch up the holes... Seat belts might cause me some pain. Theyre the 3 strap type...anyone know where I can get them from? As for a name....I guess I'm gonna have to wait to see what I get on my numberplate...I havent really gotten any inspiration for names as of yet... Quote
irokin Posted September 19, 2004 Author Report Posted September 19, 2004 well youve got the lap sash and the point up the top is held by a strap which is bolted to the roof. I'll get a picture...that'll explain it much better than I can edit: pic Quote
demuire Posted September 19, 2004 Report Posted September 19, 2004 That's the same as the one in the KE35. As far as I know, you can't buy them new, so you'll either have to buy a normal one to replace (but this will make the shoulder strap really high and tend to go across your neck instead of your shoulders...) or you'll have to look for another one at the wreckers... irokin Posted September 19, 2004 Author Report Posted September 19, 2004 Hum..I don't like my chances of finding good ones at the wreckers. Maybe I'll just put my good ones out of the corolla in for saftey cert and then put those ones back in... The car is blueplated for some sort of seatbelt modification... Quote
