gday,

i was just looking for an opinion on a colour for my ke10,

it is momentarely blue but i want to get it painted.

 

any ideas????

Something from it's production era (mid to late '60's colours) more timeless and classic than fancy modern paints.

Check other cars from that era for their colours.

Pastel colors, light browns, greens, creams, blues....

if that's it in your display pic, looks great like it is. Would look great in a british racing green type of colour though. gl

New corolla/yaris/hilux/camry blue looks amazing on older cars with some curves :y:

I think the standard white with good chrome work is awesome. I do like the blue you have there however. My brother has a 75 Mini in a similar colour and it looks hot.

My Ke16 is a burgundy/maroon colour.

 

Factory as well. Looks pretty good.

Love the deep olive, HATE the blue, too many white ones, red is boring.

my KE18 is going to be Supra deep maroon.

In my opinion nothing looks better than white. Sure there are plenty of white ones but how often do you see another KE10 on the road? Going with newish type metallic makes the car look crap unless everything single thing on that car is in overrated condition. I planned to go something new and metallic, i've got 2 sets of brand new tail light lenses, side blinkers, fender mirrors etc but there are still things i can't get new, so i'm going with white as it will make the car look best...

yellow, yellow is the best, and people can see you coming lol :P

i wanna spray my ke10 in the original willow green it once was!! or white at this stage... still sanding it back :P

that eggshell yellow..... not quite white and not quite yellow...

 

really suits the 10.

 

just make sure ur chrome is all good..

Hi! Drew I also own a KE10 and its original color was blue not like urs but quite different for reference u can see it on ur computer if u go to ur desktop and right click properties>Desktop>Color>Custom and the add these values to see almost the same color,, I hope it Helps u choose the color.

Sat:115 Green:110

Lum:105 Blue:165
