Killswitch Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 yeah when i get all done ill have to i just need a 5spd and a CIG locker :) and same pipe work for the blower and i well b out there you are aware you going to break boxes left right and centre with the torque you're gunna have and a locker? :jamie:
ancullen Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 I was going to offer you a locked diff centre, but I forgot you've got the damn Jap diff. If you ever convert to a Borg-Warner, contact me as I've got a 4.3:1 open diff, a 4.111:1 locked diff, a broken 4.111: open diff, and as of the other day, a Sprinter locked diff centre (unless FilthinRich of BoostCruising/AE86 Driving Club comes and takes it off my hands first).
imnost Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 haha i know that thats y i got 2 4spds. and and i got a 4:11 and a 3:89 diff centers and yes I'm going to go the borg-warner coz thats got the sway bar on it
imnost Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 I have a 4A-GZE crank pulley and SC pulley spare if you decide you need them. PM me if/when you're interested. if its ok can i git them off u.
ancullen Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Turns out it wasn't an SC pulley, it's the idler pulley - my bad. But yeah we can work something out. As for getting the Borg-Warner diff for the swaybar, I really wouldn't bother, as it's really easy to make up your own swaybar mounts and weld them on.
imnost Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 yeah its not going to b mack work i got a diff at home all reddy to go in
ancullen Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Too easy then. I take it you've got the original swaybar as well, or will you be getting an upgraded one?
imnost Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 I'm trying to get a new one u don't no were i can git one from
ancullen Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Whiteline suspension do good swaybars. Just go to www.whiteline.com.au. I think the L&S Springs in Berrimah are a supplier.
ancullen Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 BTW, if you're upgrading the rear swaybar, you'd probably be best to the front one as well, unless you've already got an upgraded one.
ancullen Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 (edited) If you've got lowered suspension the beefed-up swaybars should make a difference when cornering hard. Edited August 1, 2006 by ancullen
