Looks like I won't be even septating this weekend. Just got Hal back, and OMG do I have my work cut out for me. Will endevour to get it driveable before next weekend (ICC Khanacross) but I don't like my chances for that either...

Lots of cutting, lots of fabricating, lots of painting, lots of rewiring ahead of me I think! And then I have to look at that darn diff...

ps: but first I have to figure out how to get it into my garage... This could be interesting.

Rob - you have a PM, check ure inbox !

Its on saturday...

It's definitely Sunday I promise!! And Saturday will be spent working on the car, I promise.

And Teddy, you'd better reassure me that Redwarf was being good in my Datsun.... but I'm fairly comfortable in the fact that he would have been behaving (lead by example)

Also, to whomever suggested checking the thermostat housing - thanks, we did when we changed the thermostat. The water doesn't seem to be coming from that area, it's coming from the driver's side - we think it might be the neck of the radiator. Anyway, official prognosis expected today.

Have finally conceded that the Dwarf won't be ready for tomorrow. New brake line in, brakes wont bleed properly, and still have to install extractors, carbs and finish the box off. Bugger. Can't say I didn't try.

Now where did I park that Blue thing.......

Yay for blue thing :D Isn't it nice having a spare car...

If everything goes as planned I might come out for a look see. Maybe. Depending on how easily the diff comes out (hmm, seem to have lost all 3 of my 12mm spanners!) and when I'm meant to pick up the other diff...

ah shit this is tomorrow....and its almost 4am and I'm not in bed yet....count me out...bar some freak of nature.

I'm going now

Drags have been cancelled.
