Jason Posted April 14, 2006 Author Report Posted April 14, 2006 slowly getting there grr acl got the wrong piston rings  really like the way the sugre tank came out. But i still need to find a way to get the outlet of the surge tank (about 1/2 inch) to the inlet of the filter (3/8 or 1/4 inch) shot at the semi fitted dash :) Quote
Jason Posted April 16, 2006 Author Report Posted April 16, 2006 (edited) well its aculty the only place i can mount it, theres a sturt bar between the shok towers, the other side is too close to the wheel well and even if i mount it the chassis is in the way which i don't really want to be drilling through... o and nick you can get surge protectors for batteries (MOV's), which is still not the best thing but it reduces hot bettery sparks heaps Any way, i finally hooked up the car power (ecu power was done like 1 week ago) and things work. But i mangted to destoy the ignrion switch barrel :lolcry: so wreackers sometime to get a 'new' one. And now the eltrics are dead again becuze of that. but I'm happy the alarm works now  so cool the remote works from up the street, the panic button is soo cool :lolcry: Edited April 16, 2006 by Jason Quote

It hard to get to the southside after school :lolcry: but hopefully going down there this friday and just maybe ill get them back before i go to school. BTW the head is torqued down, inlet shims been ajusted, and now i just need to shims for the exhust because there would out by a bit more... bastards cost $16 each ! Medicine_Man Posted June 19, 2006 Report Posted June 19, 2006 Wow, Coming along nicely, Thats a cracker sized thermo fan you got there!!! Quote
Teddy Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 Apart from the Jason spec hole for the intercooler pipe on the radiator support panel, looking awesome :lolcry: :) Quote
ancullen Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 It looks like you're using the same setup as I planned to use - Commodore radiator with 16-inch eBay thermo fan (it looks like I've even got the same brand fan). But you're fan mounting looks a bit weird - have you just drilled into the radiator??? Quote
Jason Posted June 20, 2006 Author Report Posted June 20, 2006 lol no, it you spread some fins and put bolts through with some big mica pads and rubbers :) I was going to mount it with some brakets but this was ALOT easier and tidyer Quote
Jason Posted June 25, 2006 Author Report Posted June 25, 2006 The cars eltrics work again, now I'm just cleanin it up :) and I'm about 3/4 through the motors eltrics/added stuff And the control pannel i wipped up today :( a bit more spaced out than what i wanted but eh its easier to work on Also windscreen should be going intomorrow :D Quote
