I saw one of these on the highway near the Anzac Avenue on/off ramp.

 

Now it said "Corolla II" across the rear reflector but when I got up beside it I almost cried - this has to be THE UGLIEST corolla I have ever seen !!

the front is not too bad....it looks like a bitza car

I've seen a couple of those, front end has hints of the corolla 4wd, and the back is well, quirky jap kei car styling really.

 

as for the badge, it's Cii as in Corolla II, which i think beforehand was known as the Tercel (yes, totally different to our tercel) and they decided to change it to Corolla II, since the Corolla had evolved into a larger car, and this was more like the orginal corolla in size... i think :doublebird:

who here thinks that toyota shouldnt have made the corolla a bigger car than it was in the beginning......

 

i've seen some big arse corollas, and the bagde just doesnt fit the style or shape of the car.....its defimation!!!!..(spl)....

They are the models above mine, the newer shape, they come out even in 4WD, powered by 1.3ltrs to 1.5ltr's using unleaded and desiel. No turbo models were release to my knowledge, they are different, I don't mind them... to much. :doublebird:
