demuire Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 Mt Cootha is 50 zone, and quite often is enforced. And is dreadfully boring at 50. Nebo and Glorious are mostly 80 zone, and you can have fun there at 80. Quote
Medicine_Man Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 just stick to the speed limit through mt. cootha, its not that hard to do  Quote

ae71neo Posted January 7, 2005 Author Report Posted January 7, 2005 Alright so put down a time to meet somewhere and lets do it. I wont be able to check until tomorrow night, so whatever is agreed on here will be good. Quote
demuire Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 I know it's really early, but I'm tempted to try for a 6 or 6.30 start. Quote
ae71neo Posted January 8, 2005 Author Report Posted January 8, 2005 What about 6:30 at the servo on the corner of Settlement Rd and Waterworks Rd in the gap? Then its straight up nebo. Quote
ae71neo Posted January 8, 2005 Author Report Posted January 8, 2005 Are we breaking our fast up there? Quote
Felix Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 watch out for all the bikers guys. sunday mornings would have to be busiest time of the week for motorbikes and cyclists. the cyclists are the ones to watch, riding up to 4 abreast. sundays are the worst day for a fun drive. the best times are during a weekday or at night.
