David[RL] Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 Does the fender and doors from a te71 fit a ke70? Quote
Nitephyre Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 i would say so.. might have to play with the headlight mounts etc, but otherwise i'd say yes :lol:_ Quote
irokin Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 I concur, they should do. TE71s look awesome done up. see: http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/toyota/80/te72gal/ Quote
Teddy Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 I have more to say! The Te71 had slighty different lights and bumper from ke70. They also didnt have blinkers on the fenders (Te71); whereas the ke70's do. If you were to use the fenders, id say u might have to use the Te71 bumper and lights + grill as well... as there slightly differet. But i do hope you can prove me wrong, its alota bother to change the front around.. ! Good luck Quote
Jason Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 just that the Te71  its got cool rear wind down windows Quote
irokin Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 ugh and so does the TA22...theyre a pain in the ASS!! you can't wind up the windows without opening the door because the seals get caught. And finding replacement seat belts is an abosolute slut. Even after calling the manufacturer directly even theyre engineers couldnt help me. anyway.. off topic Quote
demuire Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 irokin: You should do like I did, get a cage in the car in such a way that you can't fit the rear window winder handles back on, so you can't open or close the rear windows anymore, problem solved  ... actually, that's a really stupid solution ;) Quote
Super Jamie Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 lol fookie  ben, rarespares sell generic seatbelts in all different colors, i'll be getting some when i feel like spending the money Quote
demuire Posted January 4, 2005 Report Posted January 4, 2005 Rarespares don't make the sort of seatbelts to fit KE35's etc. I asked. "Normal" seatbelts don't work so well in the KE35, the shoulder strap kinda goes across your neck (or head if you're shorter than me). Quote
irokin Posted January 4, 2005 Report Posted January 4, 2005 Like I said, Ive talked to a number of seatbelt places and engineers and none of them can find something thats even remotely correct. AND If they are the correct type....then youve got to contend with the lock angle before they are legal amoung other things. Quote
